I’ve been using a plus phone since launch day of the 6 Plus and then got the 7 Plus last year at launch. I am so glad to have a smaller phone right now! BUT if they come out with an X Plus next year I’d possibly be game.

Been an interesting transition from a + so far. Love the height. The width feels a little off still. But I’ve totally forgotten about the home button after a few hours and use the gestures like second nature already.

First impressions are Im 100% satisfied. Screen real estate to physical iPhone size is basically perfect. I could care less about the notch. Watched a few full screen videos and yeah doesn’t bother me in the slightest like I knew it wouldn’t.

Agreed 100%. I love how intuitive the gestures are. Also, FaceID is lightning fast. Although the lack of the home button is still a bit of an adjustment (strictly because of muscle memory), I don’t find myself missing it at all. Apple did a great job with the X.

Some of the gestures don’t feel natural yet, but I LOVE both the size of the screen and the handset overall... and the notch is a total nothingburger [TM]

I’ve been pleasantly surprised how quickly the iPhone X size now feels “right” compared to the 7 plus and 6 plus. Feels great. Size and weight feel perfect.

And also expected it would take me a few days to adapt to swiping up vs a home button. But it also now seems like the “normal” way to do it as opposed to “having to press a button”.

My 7 Plus already feels awkward, LOL.

Loving the X.

I really love it to be honest. It fits perfectly into my hand - I noticed this when I was on transit the most - and I haven't noticed any differences with the screen so far. I could possibly see myself going to a plus version in the future but I have no complaints so far!

I love the size and now it fits so much better in my front jeans pocket. I had the plus for the past 3years and I could not wait until Apple went all screen to reduce the size

I’ve had the plus version of iPhones since the 6 plus. Can honestly say I don’t miss the form factor of the big old clunky phone. I’ve adapted very quickly to the size of the X. It’s the sweet spot between big screen/phone and small phone/screen.

Have had my Iphone X all day. I pre-ordered on 10/27 from Apple at 12:16 am Pacific time and got a Nov 17-24 delivery. Walked into a Verizon store just to see an iPhone X with only a couple people in the store. After finding out Verizon would sell me a space grey 64 iP X, I cancelled my Apple pre-Order and walked out with the new X from Verizon. I had a jet black iPhone 7+ 128 GB phone, so here are my observations after day 1. Give me the weekend and several days at work next week, and I'll have more input. Preliminarily, I like this phone.

Nice display, new gestures were no issue, Face ID is excellent with no failures yet, and really like the portable form factor vs. the plus. iPhone X is slightly narrower but longer and it took just a few minutes to adjust to it. Most of my apps are not yet optimized for the iP X screen. This A11 bionic chip is noticeably faster than the A10 chips in iP 7s. The keyboard is fine. I am 99% certain I will keep this phone as my more portable 7+ replacement.

One issue I hope gets fixed is illustrated in the photo below, a streamed basketball game tonight did not fill-in the whole screen in landscape mode. I thought I read that somehow this could be zoomed to fill the screen but not yet on this ESPN app. Any solution is appreciated, though it is not a deal breaker for me.

ive owned the last two iterations of the plus, love the size, but I’ve transitioned to the X, which I am hearing is noticeably smaller in screen real estate, so I’m wondering how the transition feels so far?

My X is on the delivery truck as I type so I can provide my two cents later, but curious to get feedback from those that have already been lucky enough to use their new toy.

Went from a 7+ to the X and I LOVE it. The size is perfect!

I love the size of the IPhone X compared to the plus. I do slightly miss the wider screen but I’ve gotten aclimated to the taller screen on the X.

Overall, I like my X. But when I put it side by side with my iPhone 6 Plus, it's not as bright and honestly, I can't tell the difference in the screen when it comes to safari, apps. There is a difference in video in favor of the X, but again, the actual video is smaller than the Plus screen.

Holy **** it's fast though.

Also yeah, it has a blue-ish at angles tint so that will take getting use to. Not as bad as the Pixel 2 XL (shudder). This is just a testament to how good Apple made LCD screens up until now.

Much easier to handle with good real estate for the screen. I have a 6S as my company supplied work phone and although they are similar in form factor, the X screen simply surpasses it in every way.

I like my new X - but I actually wish it were bigger. Seems a bit small to me (especially coming from an iPhone 6s Plus). Why didn't they make it bigger or come out with 2 versions.

THIS....quite surprised, was not expecting it too feel so...well...small...like i cant get over it..weird from 3 years with the plus...BUT still a beautiful device..and i will say im seriously stoked for the "X Plus" i assume will come next year...i hope lol

I’m kind of bummed this thing is small... too small.... I’ve made about 100 errors texting in the last two hours because of muscle memory and years of the plus sized variants.... I don’t know if I’m going to keep this. Plus I was half drunk at 2:01 AM and ordered space gray and not silver.... this thing is a smudge and fingerprint magnet, like I knew it was/would be.... damn Guinness.

i'm already lining up for the Xs Plus... it feels like i have an iPhone 5 in my hand. its just too small, and the notch does not help either. A lot of apps crop and make the entire experience feel as if i paid $1245 just for FaceID

SO far I like it. BUT it will take some getting used to. IMHO coming from the 8 & 7 Plus the screen is the biggest thing I'm going to have to get used to. THOUGH I really like the way it feels in the have and pocket! Don't really notice the notch either now that I've played with it for a few hours.

Silver for the win. It ALMOST matches the 8 plus color bit it a tiny bit more darker?

Nice to read. I'm a December-to-be Xer. Coming from a 6 it's good to read what Plus-ers think. I always thought the Plus screen was nice but the form factor was too big to hold and pocket. Can't wait...my 6 is slow after the last update and battery only lasts a day.

After playing around with the X all afternoon and evening, I honestly don't even miss my 6 Plus. The phone is smaller but the actual screen is longer and a bit narrower. I think many who complain about it being too small fall victim to an illusion. Would I prefer an X Plus? Maybe. But going from a Plus to an X has been fine.
