pod2g update via his blog

for the A4 jailbreak he turned that over to chronic to finish as well as as the Dev-team i'm guessing this was done for this as well. I do know it won't hit till it hits.. :( I'm hopping that snowwhite007 has inside info and not blowing smoke! though I'd think that if you are that far on the inside track you would be testing the jailbreak also.

I hope you are right, I Hope snowwhite is correct with the seemingly "insider" info. We should see soon enough.

only thing I'm saying is pod2g has most likely turned it over to chronic and the dev-team that's how it usually works. see what happens though in the end.
 
Sunday is the only day I have free time so I would be very thankful if they made today's deadline. If they aren't close I would appreciate a tweet saying so, but obviously anything they do we're grateful for.
 
I think it will be today...they have all been fairly quiet on twitter over the last few days and I think thats a good sign. But i really hope if they don't release it today they tell us something as to about how much longer it could take.

MN only yesterday hinted that they would provide no ETA but that things were progressing. I'm hoping for a pleasant surprise.

Yeah I guess your right, I just hope that if it isn't released they give us some type of info. First it was a week and then it was a few days. I would rather pod say nothing regarding ETA then get our hopes up.
 
They said that they would be taking their time days/weeks... So I kind of have lost hope for this or next week.

Hope Im wrong though. I just pray that they release unlock with jb... that would be incredibly cool... just sayin'
 
Hate to be the buzz kill but I honestly don't think it will be released today. The A4 jailbreak was released on a Tuesday so I don't believe the Sunday is Funday idea applies. However I hope I am proven wrong!

I hope you wrong also...haha I don't think its gonna take that long...I mean the last time any ETA was mentioned was on Thursday when pod said it should be a matter of days. To me that would mean between Saturday and Wednesday. I think he should at least update us if he is not going to make that deadline.

Considering the time in France I think if its not in 2-3 hours it won't be out today.

And considering the hype, the servers are gonna get hit so hard, you may have to wait a couple of days to get it :roll eyes:

lol, i just realized I'm in a pretty pessimistic mood, so scratch that, I think by tonight we will have jailbroken ip4s (and unlocked)

Wont go by france time as devs are american and thats who has made tool so up to them when it goes live

Thats true I guess it doenst matter what time it is in France if Pod has already handed it over to the dev team,,,,I'm so tired of refreshing....im gonna give it a break for a lil

I didn't understand why we were going based on the time In France to begin with. Like above poster said, once pod hands or over to the dev team, it's on our turf. I could be wrong, but I think the dev-team- or at least MN is out of California. So over there, it's the weekend and tomorrow is a holiday, they may not even be awake yet. Idk how far behind Cali is but I'm on eastern time so it's not even 1pm yet, which means they are at very least 3 hours behind meaning its not even 10 am. I'm done refreshing for a while, you ladies and gentlemen have a great day!

Here's to HOPING today might be the day.

So does planetbeings tweet mean the jailbreak probably hasn't even been handed over to dev team yet? I hope pod2g tells us what is up today, he said a matter of days.

Does this mean the jailbreak hasn't even been put together yet?

planetbeing is part of the chronic-dev team I am guessing both chronic and the dev-team have what they need. no idea how longs it takes to put it into a easy to install format.

Pod2g said that 3 days ago, so a 'matter of days' could be anything up to a week (in my interpretation).
