Not sure how the devs feel about it . Guess we can rampantly speculate on that next though.

Yeah last couple days I've been waking up outta a dead sleep with the need to check the computer
Anyway, we might as well speculate on that being as we have nothing else to do until it actually drops. I don't think they are going to hold the JB another day because of the blackout. I am sure they feel strongly about the issue, but we have waited long enough
And hell i could deal with 12:01am if i knew it was a definite!!! The black out is just today correct?
I don't mean I sound dumb but should I be bringin my MacBook to work for the next day in anticipation of this jailbreak, in case I have to do stuff from my computer like I did with my android rooting? Or am I able to simply root the iPhone from the device itself?
That is just the dumbest question i have ever heard!!! IM JOKING its not dumb at all. The jailbreak could possibly be done from the device but chances are you will need your computer to download a program, possibly redsnow. So if you are awaiting it like me, BRING YOUR COMPUTER lol

Well i hope you are right and yeah 12:01 would be AOK with me as well
. I also hope the Windows version of the software drops at the same time, i think that has me more concerned then anything at this point.
I believe the blackout is only one day but i have not followed the whole SOPA thing to any degree as when i first read about it i more or less just shrugged it off thinking this will never fly in a million years. At least not in its current form and i guess it didnt.
The one thing i keep thinking is them trying to test as much possible stuff on the A5 devices with 5.0 iOS before releasing it because we dont know how much of the Cydia stuff might break the phones .
Without being able to restore these devices after apple stops signing 5.01 i truly think these guys want to make sure this thing is stable and you cannot rush this process cause it wont be for the better.
I guess people just keep forgetting but need to be reminded over and over that if you break your phones software there is NO going back .....

Well I for one, knew nothing about the blackout until I read it on here. I'm guessing today is just another day it WON'T go live. I've continued to be an optimist about this, however today I'm just being a realist about it. I've ended probably 20 post like this, here's to hoping.

Well they did state it was going to be a truly magical Jailbreak but i guess that could mean anything from Unlocking 5.0 phones to being able to restore on iOS 5.
I am trying to remain optimistic as well and generally i am more of a pessimist to be honest.
I am scared i will break one of my devices installing the wrong thing and waiting around for others to guinea pig stuff before i try it is not exactly a nice thing to do either and rather selfish .
