Hope you're feeling more intuitive than all the other predictions you've made.
Damn now planetbeings twitter posts pretty much ruins all hope for a release today. What i dont get is it feels like of all people pod2g is out of the loop. He give u rough eta and then we find out that this aint done or that aint done. Just so confused. I mean i guess the jailbreak app could possibly be finished in a few hours but with my luck i doubt that happens. You guys giving up hope for today?
I never really had any hope it would hit today i just said i did earlier to make everyone(you) feel better
.Just read that tweet and yeah its probably going to be a few more days based on that comment. The guy is writing the app to handle the JB then that will have to go through stages of testing before going public.
That stuff does not generally happen in hours but rather days.

Yeah i guess we might actually have a few more days. But for all we know he could be hours from finishing it. And i cant imagine that much testing goes into the app. I mean as long as it injects the jailbreak what else needs to be known. But i know nothing so for all i know they need a month to test the app
If i remember right the tweet said him along with others were writing the app. You know what..... Im still keeping the faith today. These guys are genuis im sure they could write the app in under 3 hours. I bet planetbeing said it wasnt done so people didnt go crazy (even though they did) i am going on a limb and saying its all done already and they just waiting to release.
It is never as simple as it sounds and sure guys can code something in a few hours but i really doubt this would be one of those times honestly.
These guys take pride in there work and that takes some time no doubt so it could be a couple more days. Hope i am wrong and its sooner cause i want it badly as well .

Musclenerd, Planetbeing and Saurik seem to be most involved on the dev team, but that's based on twitter activity only.
So if Planetbeing says something, I think it's probably accurate.
pod2g is only responsible for the exploit which he passed along to the dev team. He seems to be taking a backseat role now, so he's probably out of the loop like us

nailed it there. and the dev team takes time and does stuff right. thats why i use pwnagetool...never let me down.
Where would the jailbreak be once it is released? On his blog? And what program do you use to do the jailbreak?

Judging by @bigboss's comment about 5.1 coming, let's just really hold out hope that thing actually gets here before it's closed. Talk about a MAJOR dissapointment, that would be a blow to all those apple fans who can't have an iPhone unless they have JB. I'm more and more seeing myself falling into that category.
Again, coming from an android background, JB is what makes iPhone so great. You don't need it, because everything does "just work". Where as android, you need root for things to "just work" the way you want them to.

What would be a "MAJOR" disappointment? That you waited until after Apple releases 5.1 to upgrade to 5.0.1? Even after everyone wanting JB knows they need to upgrade to 5.0.1?

Actually, I read up a lot, and most iphoners thought it was coming out today, and there is a million links on google leading back to this site, so i registered.

I'm already on 5.0.1. Don't have to get your panties in a bunch;-) I'm just saying it would be disappointing if they continue to hold out and then 5.1/5.0.2 drops. That's all, you never know what you might run across that will need a restore. But if apple is still signing 5.0.1 then you will have a little wiggle room. To try new things and what not.

Jbarressi, you've got to be the dumbest(jk), or the most optimistic person ever!! I'm starting to lose faith all together!!! Just seems like every few days we get something like "just a few more" or a video teaser of a 4S running the JB perfectly. It's starting to make me sad:-(
