That's terrible even for 3G. Do you mind if I ask what state you are in?

In the speedtest.net app, there is always a spike in the upload speed to 2+ Mbps for a split second, but then goes back down. Is this a glitch in the app, or is this what Verizon's 3G is cable of?

after 2.5 years on verizon with a blackberry, i dont feel like i'm missing out on anything there. with what i've gained from switching to the iphone, i am MORE than impressed with everything the phone can do.


this is sitting on my desk at work... upload speed sucks, but i'm not sending any big files anywhere.

Couldn't have said it better regarding bb. My speeds are about the same.

Have fun with that upload speed when you do have to though! Just pray a call doesn't come, make you stop that upload to take the call, start the slow upload all over again....not being a jerk either, it's just bound to happen and it will suck for ya!

Nope, we vzw users welcome incoming calls, always, everywhere. For that, I'll gladly trade some speed.
