Well, another poll might be who of us have a developer account, and our Iphone's UDID registered, and which just installed the beta using a leaked dmg and might face problems when Beta 2 is released, or when Beta 1 expires (whatever comes first).
Good replyI've been in software development for longer than most who post here have been alive. From coding to project management. I've managed devs and formal testers.
To be honest, devs are not the best testers. Good testing actually takes a different mind set. It's good that testers know something about coding but testing is a different animal all together. We always had a formal test group for the alpha phase. But when we got to beta we included a select group of 'power users'. Much, much better results this way. Power users really know how to put software through the paces. Mostly because they actually run into the odd scenarios that are missed in the use cases. Both formal testers and devs have a tendency to follow the use cases. Conscientiously or not, it just happens.
So from my experience, folks who aren't devs but can get hold of the beta actually add a lot to the beta testing phase.
Have dev account... but not really a dev. I am a computer consultant and I have to support iOS, so I like to know what's coming. Also, I do send bug reports.
Yes.Pardon the stupid question, but I want to run iOS 7 but am not a developer. If I enroll in the developer program, will I then be able to d/load iOS 7?

If you're asking if I have a registered account, yes, I do.
If you're asking if I have any development skills, no, I don't.
To be honest, devs are not the best testers.
