Poll: Dev or not Dev

I'm not sure what to answer.

I don't have a paid developer account but am in the progress of writing two apps, testing in simulator until ready for on device alpha testing.

Not inch point paying for a 12 month developer account when my apps might not be ready for another 2-3 months!

I'm not. An old friend graciously offered to add my UDID to his account after I subtly dropped a few hints, so I'm legit in Apple's eyes.

I do enjoy using the latest-and-greatest, even if it means having to work around beta bugs. I've also got about half of a CS degree, although I haven't ventured into iOS or OS X development. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to that and finish it up in the next year or two.
