I hope this trend continues and mac becomes an alternative platform for AAA gaming.
Yeah I hope this is a trendBetween this and No Man's Sky coming to Macs, this is turning into a surprisingly good year for Mac gaming.![]()
Problem is most gamers will never migrate to the Apple ecosystem because Macs are not upgradable and have poor repairability. And Apple doesn't help: Apple Arcade is a total failure. Games like Stray could be added to Apple Arcade, but to be played in what devices? Apple TV 4K and most iPhones and iPads have only 4GB of RAM.It's slowly happening ... gaming on the Mac.
I think someone needs to look up the definition of “Popular”.
I love when Apple employees comment! LolBetween this and No Man's Sky coming to Macs, this is turning into a surprisingly good year for Mac gaming.![]()
It’s absolutely delightful. It’s kinda short, but delightful none the less.I've heard good things about this game
It was very popular. When it came out the game streamers were all over it. I bought 3 copies on release day. 1 for me, and 1 for each of my two nieces. It was probably one of the most popular indie games on the last 5-10 years.I think someone needs to look up the definition of “Popular”.
Blame Apple for making the platform difficult to develop on. If you want new games on macOS, let Apple know and tell them to convince game developers to come back, which good luck because the divesting of OpenGL and killing 32 bit app support was enough to steer game developers away.
It can do games. It's getting developers to make them that's the issue.Awww this is adorable....the Mac is pretending it can do games!
Have you tried Steam streaming games from your PC to your iPad? It works remarkably well if you can (ethernet) cable both devices. Of course, it won't be as good as natively on the PC, but you'd be surprised. As for the Stray game, it has a Overwhelmingly Positive review on Steam. I'd like to play it on my iPad Pro M1.
No. But I tried Xbox Cloud Gaming and played Microsoft Flight Simulator streamed from cloud on my iPad Pro, quality was good, but worse than on my Xbox Series X.Have you tried streaming games from your PC to your iPad?
