again, many write like Prtenzo is a start up and using our money for seed money - are there not many ipad1 cases out there? The company is established with a good track record...
and on the part of companies getting release dates wrong, no one did a worse job than apple with the white I4 phone...
Just got my shipping notification from Pad&Quill that my case has shipped. Now we will see how good it is. I will post a review on this forum when I get it. I ordered this last Saturday and today is Tuesday. They promised three day shipping, well, I guess they delivered.
This thread has degenerated into a steaming pile. It is a sad display of the instant me me want want now now culture. If you feel portentous partying it up with your case money I'm sure coming here and posting isn't going to help the situation. Take it up with your credit card company or PayPal.
I mean think about it. They probably didn't have a model of the iPad before March 11. It has been only 18 days since the freaking thing was released. Not to mention I'm sure they received orders from more people than just MacRumors posters. If you pre ordered on March 3 you still have to wait just like everyone else for the iPad's release on 3/11. And....you probably weren't the first person with the bright idea to pre order. Odds are others had the same idea.
Mean it has only been 18 days with weekends included.
If you can't wait cancel your order and order from someone else. I'm sure they won't mind and you'll be happier. This thread makes iPad owners look like manic OCD ADD ADHD sufferers.
I don't know about you but I'd rather they take their time and get my case right than send me some mass produced crap that ends up scratching my iPad or risks it falling out.
Imma let you finish but one more thing....look at the lack of quality accessories out on the market for the iPad 2 right now. You can score tons of cheap Chinese stuff but most everyone else has coming soon or ship dates in April, including screen protector makers. I think Portenzo made a mistake trying to get stuff out before April and allowing pre-orders but they did try. New companies make mistakes but it doesn't make them crooks.

Yeah. Its my first iPad. Sent my smart cover back -- like an idiot -- when I ordered the portenzo. Trying to decide whether to get the smart cover while I wait or switch to the Octavo. Can't wait to see the P&Q in action and hear reviews!

That's what I don't understand. This thread started out extolling the virtues of Portenzo, and now it's turning not a discussion about how great the competition is.
The delays is one thing. The thing that irks me is the lack of communication.
Dont they have a live chat option on their website? HAven't you used that?
