I was wondering about that. I don't go to their site all that often to notice.
Have you used that online question tool thinngy....have they ever responded to that?
I'll post mine when I get home. I had the composition. It had issues but it didn't impact the overall look of the case nor did it impact my ipad. No scratches or wear and tear on my ipad. No wear and tear on the case on the inside where my ipad resided.
I loved that case from a protection and security perspective. Unless you were an ipad owner you had no clue I was carrying an ipad. That was a nice feeling.
My mom even wants my portenzo for my ipad 1 that i gave her. I'm not so sure she is kewl enough for the portenzo yet.
Research the thread. If you feel you can't wait for a case and must have it right away...consider another company.
I will say however...it was worth the wait for me.
The online chat is made of very high quality words. So it takes time for the response to arrive. You need patience
I did a quick skim and I can wait. I have a case now that's working out so if it takes time that's cool.

I also ordered the 23 1/2 and asked for sky blue interior, I am sure hoping that's what I get

I don't know what the order number means in relation to your place in line. Seeing as they had gen1 products, who's to say that the order number is only for iPad 2 orders. Maybe 3900 is relatively low for the iPad 2 cases? Nontheless, I ordered yesterday and am in 6900s, so you're a lot better off than me. I'm already considering submitting a cancellation and getting in on the Grove case pre-order. The Portenzo is really calssy, but there is something so fresh with the Grove. And only weighs 7oz.
Damn - the Grove is cool - I'm in - cases for me are like suits...I won't just own one....

This is no way a shot at Darin and his team because I ordered one (23&1/2 on 3/23) knowing that I would have to wait probably longer than two weeks. I just hope you don't have false expectations of your case shipping quickly at the moment. I would pick up a case to hold you over if your worried about protecting your iPad and your dead set on a portenzo.
+1, same with me. I will place an order with Grove once the case is out and i read the reviews. I have not given up with Portenzo either, i still havent ordered this one, But i will once i see better unedited pictures with real people using the case.
As of now, i am using a FrappeDesigns folio... and i dont mind having multiple decent looking cases for a change.

am thinking of ordering a p&q and keeping my order with portenzo.. see which comes first.. review both and sell/raffle off the one i dont keep.. i need a case!!!
