Okay so it's completely random as of now. I see people in my area getting the same phone that ordered a day before me and are still seeing "not yet shipped" while my status is "prepared for shipment".

16 gb black, ordered Wednesday evening. I'm in the LA area and as of now not yet shipped. Looks like it's completely random at this point.

Ships: Delivers by June 19th
Does everyones that says "Not yet shipped" also say that it Ships on the 19th and Delivers by the 24th?
This is very confusing to me. I ordered a white 16gb 3GS on 6/8/09 right after the keynote and this is what i am getting. I want to call Apple but they are closed right now :/ And the hold times are overrated. 🙁

No. Mine actually says Delivers by the 19th. Not yet shipped / ordered 32GB on 6/8 / NYC.
Man 🙁 I am going to call them. This is retarded. I am going on vacation exactly on the 19th (leaving in the afternoon). I really need it! 🙁
Ordered 32gig 3Gs on thursday I believe; says prepared to ship.
Perhaps it has something to do with location? Maybe they're just preparing a certain area at a time. I'm North Jersey.

I ordered the 16g Blk as soon as the store came back online, not 10 after the keynote. I'm in Florida.
I ordered with overnight shipping, and my status is-
"Not yet shipped"
Ships: Jun 19
Delivers: Jun 22
But I got this email later that night-
So, as much as I'd love to have it 'delivered' on the 19th, I'd hate lose the $20 bucks I spent on overnight fees. Wish my status was updated as some here.

Has nothing to do with location, one of mine is prepared the other is not yet shipped.
Mine says that too, but I wouldn't say that we'd get it early.
At the best we know that we now should be guaranteed to get one on the 19th.
I ordered my 32g White iPhone on the 8th at 2:30pm, the order still says ships the 19th and arrives on the 24th and I have the email that says I will get it on the 19th. My status is "not shipped yet"
On June 10th at about 10:00pm my husband decided he wanted a 32g Black iPhone, so I placed the order. That order says we will get it on the 19th and the status is "prepared to ship"

Maybe completely irrelevant but I went just now to check the order status page for my iphone under ATT's website and their order status main page comes up as being under maintenance..

Mine still says not yet shipped. Ordered it around 11 in the morning today. Still says deliverers by the 19th so im not freaking yet
