I don't need it early, I need it on the 19th. I don't think I ever specified that I wanted it early
 
Ordered 16GB Black on the 8th. Still says order not yet shipped. They did just authorize my card again about 20 minutes ago. I'm guessing it will switch to prepared soon.

Same here, i have two apple stores within 10 miles from me but i don't want to deal with the mayhem of lines and stuff. I'd rather sit at home and wait for fedex to roll by.

Still "Not Yet Shipped". Not surprised, as I did place the order at the end of the work week. Waiting for Monday and that "Prepared for Shipment" note.

Cool thing was, I checked my eligibility on Apple's site Tuesday (6/9), and I was not given an early upgrade. I was going to have to pay full price for a 16GB. Not until Friday evening when I went on the site to order, did I discover that I was being given an Early Upgrade!! :p I was super pumped, and went for the 32GB Black. Decided to switch it up from a White 3G!

Lucky? Naw, just specially privelaged. :cool:

Hahaha I seen that too...I swear Im obsessed with getting this phone, I probably check that page everyday hoping for some new updates....this week has been the longest in my life..
 
Mine also says Prepared for shipment. Ordered afternoon of WWDC. Shipping to Sacramento. Sure hope it comes early because I'm leaving on a one week trip on the 19th.

AT&T's doing maintainence on everyone's wireless account, not just iPhone accounts. But congrats guys! :cool:

Ordered 1 hour after the keynote on the 8th, "Not yet shipped", but I'm confident it'll come on time. Expecting to ship on Wednesday. In the north bay area, having it delivered to my workplace.
 
I was one of the first to order because I was hitting refresh that day when the site was down. As soon as it came back I saw the 3GS and ordered the 16GB.

My shipping status has not changed yet. I have a feeling I'm gonna get it early though. ;)

lol that's what I was doing, so I'm right there with ya. I don't know about getting it early though, it says the 19th so I'm banking on the 19th.
 
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but preparing to ship could just mean it's getting put in a box with a label on it. That's certainly good news for getting it as planned (19th).

Yeah, my kids are due for phone upgrades today and I went to login just to confirm it shows on our account page. Just trying to get to the main account dashboard will get you the "down for maintenance" notice. Just grabbed one of their phones and entered *NEW# and it texted back to confirm their upgrade status for today.

Mine was ordered 10 AM 6/10.

Still says "not yet shipped." Shipping to NYC.

I'm moving on 6/23 from NY to Arizona. Hope I get it the 19th!
 
I ordered mine 32GB Black on the 8th and it shows "Prepared for shipment". I also live in the bay area, Cupertino is only about an hour and a half away from me.....I'm so hoping i get mine early.
