Possibility of Arrival Before the 19th

Am I the only one on this entire thread whose iPhone has already shipped? I live in Northern VA, tracking info is attached.

What really freaks me out is that despite the fact that it shipped on Friday, estimated delivery is the 20th, not the 19th.

Also... isn't New Jersey the wrong direction?

EDIT: NEVERMIND, I just realized that this shipping info is for the screen protector I ordered. The actual iPhone hasn't shipped yet!

there has to be some type of pattern. maybe they are printing the shipping labels in alphabetical order of last name? Im near the end of the alphabet with "T" so maybe thats why mines not updated yet? What about you guys?

I hope that's not the case because I'm a W and it seems like they will never get to me!

I'm in your boat.. Perhaps it's a regional thing.. To the guys that are "prepared to ship" what part of the country are you in?
 
order mine on Friday 12th and its says prepared for shipment oh and i'm in florida

Nope. Doesn't explain why 1 of mine is prepared for shipment and the other is not yet shipped. I don't think there's a pattern unless it has to do with the exact model shipping from a specific warehouse (32GB black prepared for shipment, 16GB white not yet shipped, located in MD).

I'm in MD too, still "Not Yet Shipped". I'd be surprised if I saw anything change today considering it's Sunday.
 
Ordered mine Wednesday night, 32GB White.
My last name is Bhatia. Live in Northern VA.
Mine changed from "Not Yet Shipped" (Last night) to "Prepared for Shipment" (Now)
 
Don't forget that there is a good possibility that these phones are coming directly from China. In China, our Sunday afternoon is their Monday.

I ordered from the Apple Store 2 hours after WWDC and this morning my order is Prepared for Shipment. I agree with the China time thing... my Gen1 iPhone came directly from China in the initial shipment of that model.
 
Just a little note for us people who preordered online through ATT, i'm sure most know this because they are addicted to checking their order status but... it looks like ATT isn't as specific about the shipping process as Apple so we really won't know if we are ready to ship or not--clicking in progress, as you may know, shows the following available status updates if they were to appear:

Status Explanations

In Progress: Our warehouse is still processing this item for shipment.

Canceled: This item has been canceled and will not be shipped.

Partially Shipped: Some of the items have shipped. If an item is on backorder, an amount will appear in the Qty Backordered column.

Shipped: Our warehouse has shipped this item.


So ya it looks like you don't want anything but in progress and shipped to show haha I guess we'll have to wait until around as early as the 16th to see any update >< ...im on the same boat as others with a vacation coming on the 20th so i'm addicted to keeping up-to-date =D gl
 
yay! mine finally says prepared for shipment. it didnt earlier today then i went to the grocery store, just got home and checked it again and its updated yay!

Nah, if there is a pattern it's not alphabetical I don't think.

Just an FYI I'm pretty sure for the folks in Northern CA that all these phones are coming through the Apple warehouse in Sacramento. I could be wrong about that but there is a huge facility there.
 
Ordered mine at 5:18PT on Monday night and mine still says "not yet shipped." I'm not worried about it though, it's still almost a week away from the arrival date. If it's shipping overnight, then it doesn't have to change status until Thursday.

I'm in Michigan, fyi, and at the end of the alphabet with a Y.

You seem to have the right attitude about this. Sadly I do not. I am sitting here nearly at the point of freak-out because I ordered on the evening of WWDC and it's still showing "Not yet shipped."

I'm less concerned about a potential delay than I am about logistics - I'm moving on the 20th.

Wishing us all "not yet shippers" well.
 
My 32GB Black iPhone 3G S which was ordered approximately 30 minutes after the keynote on the 8th just had its status changed to Prepared for Shipment.
