I don't like the design of this 'device' at all, and it would be terribly odd of Apple to take a leap away from the iPad design.
It would be too soon for Apple to move away from the current button design, especially when you look at the iPad.
And those seams.. man, those are butt ugly.
And anyone thinking that the next iPhone will feature a user replaceable/removable battery is just naïve. No offense, but come on; the iPad and the MacBooks released this month continue to manifest the non-user-replaceable battery. What makes people think that the new phone actually will sport one.
And aside from that; how big is the percentage of phone users wanting to replace their batteries anyway. I personally see no more than ~5% actually carrying more than one battery with them. Why would Apple ruin a beautiful design for those few people? Apple thinks in masses, not individuals.
