Possible iPhone 7 Dummy Unit Showcases Removed Antenna Bands, Smart Connector, and Flush Camera

I am not sure if I really like the design. I guess not to fond of it. Maybe I wait for the iPhone 8.
Maybe next year they'll only sell 220 million phones the entire year and only make 40b in profits for the entire year. That sure would be a wake up call for any business, am I right?
No but that was lost in a bar by someone as an accident (probably) this is blatant, the guy is taking a picture with it and uploading to social media. I just don't think Apple would give an iPhone 7 prototype to someone who's not on the design team, the guy is chief of French content.
I remember the old days, where people claim that those who buys Apple stuff only buys them for the looks. I guess those people are correct after all. People only look at the phone design, and if it looks the same as the old one, it's the same.
There are many people, including tech bloggers, that stated how the SE is not much different than the 5S, even though it is running the latest A9 and have 4K recording for $400. I can see the same trend, with many will simply state that this is "no different" than the iPhone 6.

It's not that I don't understand the iPhone SE is different/better. BUT - most consumers wants to be enticed. And the easiest way to do this is to 'update' the hardware design. This IS what they did with the iPod line. Crushed the competition. Now it feels stale and stagnant. Easy as that.
All I have to say is Tim Cook better live up to his word when he said "A feature you cannot live without with the iPhone 7." He was referencing with Mad Money Jim Cramer. Because if it doesn't have a show stopper, I will live without the iPhone 7 until next year.

What's up with wireless charging with smart connector? That sounds like FireWire wireless to me. I didn't know my MacBook has been wireless charging all along.
To a significant degree, at least visually, I can already see it in action every time I use my 6s. Really looking forward to next year's truly redesigned anniversary model with the significantly more powerful 10nm A11, mLED display and real wireless charging.

His idea of can't live with is probably an upgraded camera.
I loved the AW and AP but... I'd rather him show us at the iPhone event than to tell us. I need a new design that's at least as a pretty as the Galaxy S7.

so ridiculous. none of these haters complain about TVs looking the same each year, or home receivers, or toasters, etc etc... why? because it doesnt matter. our tools dont need to look different from one year to the next. they need to do their jobs and do them well, which iphone does.

I haven't had a case on my phone since the 3g. None on the 4-5-6+. Got all phones launch day.
I really hope these are all false rumors directly leaked by apple itself ...

Not only that it could actually make the iPhone look stodgy, old hat, uncool, turn people on to something fresher -- I don't know what but it's leaving a gap in left field. That is Apple's real problem. Dragging sales are the symptom. Apple is supremely arrogant if it thinks it can de facto skip a year of it's #1 product. I pray it's not that foolish...or that devoid of ideas.
Again, while I personally don't care about the looks of my phone, it's no surprise why so many people do. I don't know why you're comparing it to TV's, home receivers, or toasters (?????) when a smartphone is so drastically different than all 3. People take their phones everywhere they go. They've become way more than just a tool. It becomes part of your identity. That's why there are countless cases out there. Sure, you could argue that the looks don't matter since cases just cover it up anyway, but for lots of people, having a fresh look on your new phone helps make the device feel... well... new. And there's nothing wrong with wanting that.
Also, for the record, every time I've purchased a new TV, home receiver, or toaster, it *has* looked completely different design-wise than the last.
So the 4 and 4S is still the most beautiful design...
The beautiful full glass backside is much better than the 2-tone 5/5s or the ugly antenna band on the 6/6s.
