This is not a photo of a new iPhone, I can't believe that is what it has come to with people. That is just a photoshopped image of a 6 Plus, I could make a better representation of it than what is there. These people aren't even trying anymore. Take your iPhone 6 or 6s and look what they did, it is just using the patch tool to take away the bands of the antenna band at the top and bottom and three dots added at the bottom.

Let's be real here...

Some people will claim it's fake/photopshopped.

But deep down we ALL know this will be exactly what iPhone 7 will look like. (if you are here long enough).

So... why don't we just drop the whole "it's fake" if you've been here for at least 2 years

Here is an ELA of the image, if someone had the larger version, I could show the defects in the image better, but you can see where the modifications have been made to the photo. The area around the camera is notably error ridden, hence photoshopped, but the dead giveaway is the three dots at the bottom of the image, notice the sloppy copy and paste job of a square, where it was manipulated onto the surface of the image, if it were on the actual device, there would be no noise showing there, as this strategy for picking out fakes is to tell whether there is differences on planar surfaces. FAKE.

hmmm still ugly. I'm sort of surprised how ugly it is
Much to do over nothing.

Only the Apple Faithful get so worked up over minutiae like antenna bands, a bloody connector and if the camera ring is flush or not. It's laughable.

Mainstream buyers just don't care. In fact, setting aside the rumors that suggest a large number of people who indicate a greater interest in the upcoming iPhone 7, than they did with the 6S, it's a distinct possibility that this year's release will fall flat.

Now _That_ would be a true wake up call for Apple.

Ok, but I don't think he would be stupid enough to take a picture with the iPhone 7, Apple have very strict restrictions on things like this, plus the photo hasn't been removed so either he just doesn't care about getting fired or it's a fake!

This thing is screwed up as well, but it has had noise added to the entire image to attempt to hide the modification made to the camera being made to look flush. But you can see from the ELA how error free the image is except for that area around the camera.

So it is fake? I didn't think that someone who worked for Apple would be so stupid as to post a picture with the real iPhone 7.

Boring.

Maybe the rumours about there being no 7s and straight jump to 8 are true if this is indeed the 7. My 6 is looking good for another year at this point, and I've never skipped more than one model before...

Yeah, I don't know if it lets you download the higher quality version I uploaded, but there has been modifications to the area around the camera for sure, if it were flush it wouldn't pop out with errors like it does in just that corner. It's a touched up image but much less so than that of the other one. It looks to be an iPhone 6 or 6s with the protruding camera. So yeah a fake.

Which then begs the question, why would an Apple employee fake an iPhone 7 and post on social media. From previous posts this guy is supposedly Apples Chief of French content, his account leaked Apple Music last year before it was announced at WWDC. So either this account isn't the real one or an Apple employee posted a fake iPhone 7 picture.

Here is yet another supposed "leak" with the source saying its from Foxconn but is probably fake https://twitter.com/jailbreakbuster/status/729760762793758721

It has the "pro" name at the bottom of the device and the atntenna bands have been moved, but everything else looks the same. The camera looks the same as the 6s so no dual camera as rumoured, I'm guessing it's a fake!

Yeah, it looks like the Pro was photoshopped onto it; compare the pro to the apple logo, they should look similar, but alas...

With all these fakes I'm wondering when we are going to to see some real leaks.

To me these seem like obvious fakes as the leaks clearly indicate a repositioned and larger camera.

I also expect (and hope) that the antenna lines will be rounded (like in the render above) and not squared (like in the fake dummy).

All I have to say is Tim Cook better live up to his word when he said "A feature you cannot live without with the iPhone 7." He was referencing with Mad Money Jim Cramer. Because if it doesn't have a show stopper, I will live without the iPhone 7 until next year.

It won't be exciting (because it's been done before), but complete waterproofing would be a "can't live without".

...and there's probably something inside the phone that we don't know about.... Like the barometer on the iPhone 6. Was that leaked? Can't remember.

Regardless, Apple's "can't live without" are things like the Apple Watch and the Health App.

The render (above and the last image) and the leak schematics show on the windows computer are from the same guy, i think the render was made from those schematics. I don't know if all these rumours will turn out to be true but it wouldn't surprise me, i actually like the design.

it makes me laugh when people relate the quote Tim Cook said "Cant live without" to the iPhone 7, Cook never mentioned the 7 at all, he may be talking about further down the line (iPhone 8? 9?) we just don't know and will have to take it at face value.

Ok so the guy who posted this picture on social media, is being very evasive and trying to hint that the picture is real, this makes me believe that it is fake even more. No Apple employee would do this and as far as I'm aware as ever done so? you can see his comments on the picture by clicking on the link.

That's correct, they all come from Steve Hemmerstoffer of OnLeaks and NowhereElse.fr and looking at his track record I'm very certain this is the real deal (at least for the 4.7" version).

Me too, i think the iPhone Plus will be a little different, dual camera maybe? or it could be the same just bigger and they might add an iPhone Pro to the lineup with the dual camera and possibly a 256GB option? We will see as we get closer to the September announcement and more leaks appear, and of course we will know for sure when Apple announce.
