iPhone 4s

Selecting Music under Manage Storage (Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage) causes a crash back to home screen.

Have already carried out a complete reset and re-install of iOS8 via iTunes and still get the same behaviour. Itunes match was in use, but I still get the same crash when not enabled.

Only seems to affect the iPhone 4s. iPad mini works as expected.

Reboot Inconsistencies

After upgrading my iPod, iPad Air & iPad Mini Retina to iOS 8, they will no longer reboot properly pressing both the "Home" key and "Power" button. The white Apple logo will appear but then fade back to a black screen requiring repeating of the same procedure. Unfortunately, this results in the same problem. Somehow, after doing this numerous times on each each device, all 3 have rebooted and now operate. This is unacceptable and not the performance of all 3 devices under iOS 7. Accordingly, I'm not upgrading my 5S until this is resolved.

Has anyone else experienced this?

iOS 8 screwed up the wifi on my 5S. 2.4 ghz it'll lock up but not lose connection and 5ghz it won't lock up but it'll lose connection all together. Funny cuz last year I had problems with 5ghz locking up and dropping. The issue is worse this year because both bands are affected.

Completely the same issue here. Makes the device absolutely unusable (I only have 250mb a month data!)

Keyboard Shortcuts.

IPhone 5S.

My keyboard shortcuts have gone.

When I try to add them back it won't accept spaces in the shortcut in spite of it saying on the screen "Create a shortcut that will automatically expand into the word or phrase as you type"

It don't accept phrases!

IGNORE MY GRUMBLE

Just had a lightbulb moment and sorted it. Basically, i was putting the shortcut (lul) in the phrase box and the phrase ( love you lots and lots ad lots and lots) in the shortcut boc.

Location Services iOS 8

Location services quit working on update. WiFi intermittent. iPad3 sluggish.

i have ios 8 on my iphone 5 and my battery percentage will drop in 10-15% intervals. For example, yesterday i was at 40%. it seemed to stay on 40% for a while and then all of a sudden it dropped to 30%. The other day, i was at 25% battery and my phone shut off and it required me to plug it in and charge it until it booted back up. Yet when it turned back on it said i was still at 25%.

I've also noticed that when i have my phone charging, if i click the home button to view my lock screen, there will be about a half second delay until the battery indicator shows me the current percentage. for example i locked my screen at 50%, and when i clicked the home button to view the lock screen after a few minutes, there is about a half second delay from when it jumped up from 50% to the current battery percentage

Does Anybody's iPhone 6 Wi-Fi Automatically Turn Off But Wifi Is On But Its Not Connected. No Network Would Show Up But Wi-Fi is Turned On ? I Gotta Do A Reboot For It To Connect

After configuring a "share" menu for an app, it doesn't stick. have to always go and set it up again.

Google Drive crashes when attempting to upload a photo. Probably looking for the "Camera Roll" but's no longer there obviously.

Constant freezes in Facebook app.

Screen doesn't rotate 80% of the time like it's suppose to.

The Photos app, doesn't sort by order in the "Photos" section for the things I recently took.

The Swiftkey app goes "missing" sometimes.

Post iOS 8.0 bugs here

Freezes on landscape when I open various apps, but more importantly email. I wasn't even using landscape prior, but it's stuck on it after going back to phone on pick up and it's not straightening itself out by turning phone right way either. Common or just me?

Plus Twitter app doesn't load properly. DMs don't work and won't send and also get black screen in DMs on app

1. Can't seem to be able to play non itunes tracks on third party music apps.
2. When you turn animations off, bringing up spotlight makes the display all grey and blocky (really weird and clearly unintended).

----------

This happened every time I went to spotlight... I reset and it works fine again.

Oh, this happened to me when I disabled animations. Will try to see if a reset fixes things.

Tried to unlock my phone and it's not working. First time it has happened. Had to turn it off and on for it to work again.

1. WiFi seems to hang intermittently. On my iPad Air (cellular model), I usually turn off cellular service when at home. The WiFi drop out will trigger the 'Cellular Data is Turned Off" message, even though WiFi is on, and seemingly connected. Same is true for hanging on my iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 Plus.

2. While playing quicktime attachments from email (audio or video), when I rotate the phone (landscape <> portrait), it will stop playback.

3. Bluetooth seems to have a REALLY hard time connecting to devices. Setting up new connections on my iPhone 6 Plus took many tries and long delays.

4. iMessages will occasionally hang up in landscape mode, regardless of phone orientation. I have to kill the app, then restart it to regain rotation ability.

I have gotten so good at typing apples keyboard no longer offers me word suggestions above the keyboard. I am so pleased with myself :) but would have liked a badge and a sound to mark my accomplishment :)

Since I updated to IOS 8 yesterday in my iPhone 5, I can't access Control Center from Lock Screen, it goes black and doesn't work.
This doesn't happen in my iPad Air, which I also updated yesterday.
Can't figure it out.

In my case, sometimes I can't invoke the Control Center while in Apps or Home screen. Rebooted my 5S a couple of times because of that, so far it's working.

Here's a biggie. Bluetooth for many car systems no longer works. If you do a search you'll see this is being widely reported among various models of cars. This one is inexcusable.

Yup ... phone not found or when it is found, calls drop inexplicably and unpredictably ... 2010 Acurra TL and iPhone 6+

This was a huge hassle for me in my Honda CRV and the tech at the dealership couldn't figure it out.

Luckily, I found a thread describing how to correct it and am all good now

Uhh ... so can we have a link to the thread???

As said before, it has slowed down my device significantly. Also, not sure if this has been posted, but if you have two albums that have the same name, but are by different artists, the album art and year will apply to both of them. If you don't understand, look:

I have two albums: one is Britney Spears' Blackout, and the other is a single by Daddy's Groove & Cyrogenix, also called Blackout. However, when I click on Britney Spears under artists I see this:

Similarly, when I tap the artist Daddy's Groove & Cyrogenix, I see the tracklist for the Britney album, and no track from that single... But other songs from that artist still appear.

This is probably the one I've noticed the most since I listen to music a lot on my phone. That along with the ones which have been stated before, like short battery life, slow animations, unresponsive touchscreen, etc. You'd think Apple would catch on to all these bugs before releasing it to the public? Guess we'll have to wait for iOS 8.1; hope it's not long until then.

The emails I'm able to see in the Notification Center seems to vary. Sometimes it's all unread emails, sometimes none, and sometimes just a few of them. It may have to do with whether I've used the phone (a 6) recently.

I can't wait for a jailbreak and Intelliscreen X.

Anyone else getting random tri-tone/vibrate alerts with no visible reason? I'm getting a few a day with no info anywhere as to why.

I have had problems with the orientation on my iPhone 6 plus. Before I had it in landscape and when I rotated the phone to portrait, it wasn't moving back no matter what. When I hit the rotation lock, it finally went back into portrait mode. Then when I clciked off the rotation lock it automatically when into land scape again. Had to shut down the phone to fix it.
There is definitely a bug that is causing auto-rotate to get stuck in portrait, and nothing short of a reboot will get it back to normal.

Both my iPhone 6 and my wife's 5s got stuck in portrait mode last night, which was particularly annoying trying to watch video or use FaceTime. I tried a bunch of stuff (toggling rotation lock, manually closing everything open), but nothing would kick it back in other than rebooting.

The only constant on both devices apart from basic web browsing was that Epic Zen Garden had been run on both, but just running that app wasn't enough to trigger the bug when I tested, so it either takes a while, some additional factor, or something else did it.

I turned up a couple of threads on Apple's forums from iPad users having the same problem. Can't be super common or there'd be more complaints, but two devices in once house in one night is pretty bad odds.
