Safari: Photo upload to Facebook still broken.

Podcasts: No suggestions when typing in search box; loading a website with embedded audio/video causes the podcast playing to stop; play button often becomes non-responsive after a podcast has been paused; subscribe button still needs numerous taps to register; and so on, and so on.

This is a Mess of an os. It looks scruffy and untidy because things don't reset to a pleasant look

Pull down notification center. Scroll it down a bit. Push it away off screen. Later pull down Notification Center and it's still in the ugly position you left it. Half words cut off.

It's the same in settings. It's ugly as you left it.

Surely after a set time both Notification Center and settings should reset to a start position so it looks tidy and nice. At the moment it's like a teenagers room. Please Send in the digital mother to clean up because this is the digital world and these things are possible.

Here's what it looks like and it's happening on all my devices I upgraded to iOS8. After I use the microphone on the keyboard for dictation, keyboard becomes transparent after I tap done. It makes it difficult to see the keyboard when I want to start typing.

Updated my iPad 2 to 8.02 and Safari is still an absolute dog. I honestly feel as though I have gone back in time and I'm using IE on a slow connection. Most of my work colleagues are reporting exactly the same issue.

I really think they are losing the plot at Apple Towers. This has to be one of the worst OS releases in a long time. I reinstalled Chrome and it's much quicker and smoother than Safari so I will use that for the time being.

When I do finally replace my current iPad, Apple are not going to be an automatic shoo-in next time. I will look at what the opposition are offering.

Companies get to large and when they do they often take their customers loyalty for granted. They do so at their peril.

And now clicking reply on my emails and a keyboard won't come up. Apple you've excelled yourself. This really is the worst effort ever.

I find safari on my iPad 2 to be faster than on IOS 7.1.2. Actually the iPad feels faster than on IOS 7.

Recently updated my iPhone 5S to the iOS 8 (today on iOS 8.0.2) and I got strange battery behavior. Actually, the point is in battery percentage, the phone isn't showing it correctly. It goes down normally to 61% and than just drop to 59%. It also repeats on some other percentages and it's so annoying. This never happend to me while i was using iOS 7. Some people told me that they have this issue too, but no one knows how to get rid of it. My phone is 4 months old, so I suppose the battery is in good condition, I put it on charger overnigt and have regular charging every nigth. I did a clean restore, set it as new device, but problem is still there. Does anyone have solution to this problem?

Thanks!

I may try a clean install. Although other features work, safari as it is just makes me want to take a hammer to this device.

new iphone 6 plus - had two incidents of a loud audio screech.
once yesterday iOS 8.0 - had headphones on after completing a call
once today iOS 8.0.2 - had just dialed a call

both times, sudden deafeningly loud screech electronic sounding mid to high pitch range less than a second in duration — headphone volume was less than 50% at the time

don't know if this is iOS or sign of some other hardware issue.

Post iOS 8.0 bugs here

I can't be the only experiencing the NC and CC being super touchy. Sometimes they open then close and open other apps.

App Store slow loading, Safari slow loading if at all at times, but Google chrome works!? c'mon maaan!

Also this damn U2 album won't go away. I've deleted multiple times and it just keeps coming back.

IP6+

Updated to 8.0.2 and lost the weather under the time on the notification screen. Seems to be no option to get it back.

This was on both an IPhone 6 and iPad air.

That's f'd up... arguably, worse than any of these others.
got some practice holding the 6+ up to my ear after that.

also, on iphone6+ other audio issue.
using some apps seems to then prevent other apps from playing sound through the speaker while headphones still work.
e.g.

  • open Dr.Betotte lite (metronome app), click play, no sound from speaker
close it or leave it running in background
then try iTunes or youtube -> no sound from speaker, headphones work.
    receive a phone call
then itunes or youtube plays through speaker

good news is that bluetooth pairing worked for me in 8.0.2

Not sure if it has been mentioned but every time I watch a video either in safari or YouTube and rotate and the go back to what I was doing the elements displayed just below the status bar get mixed in with the status bar. Highly annoying. Iphone 5 8.0.2

Have you tried DFU mode?

Please stop throwing around the word "bricked" like it means "my screen is black".

Restarting the phone sorted out the camera for me. Before it wouldn't even take a picture with or without the flash..

Don't seem to be able to launch the yahoo weather app from notifications centre.. I'm sure I could before ios 8,0,2

Apologies if this has been posted already as haven't read all 13 pages of thread!

On my iPad 2 in iOS8, ALL of my bookmarks (which I have added to my homescreen) on my home screen are displaying like this:

URL]

The bookmarks still work however, one thing is a little strange - the bookmarks which create a logo (like the Apple bookmark you can see), display correctly (as you can see by the Apple iOS8 bookmark and also 'The Next Web' bookmark icon), however, some of the other icons (I am presuming that these bookmarks do not create an icon but just create an image of the website itself), just do not display correctly?!

Can someone else try and create a bookmark on their iPad 2 and see if they get the same result?

Well, this is certainly one bug which has been fixed in iOS 8.0.2 - all my bookmarks have now automatically turned back into icons again!

:)

Dear All,
Here are my list of iOS 8 bugs:

1. I have recently updated my iPad 4 Gen 64GB Cellular to iOS 8 (lately iOS 8.0.2). Since then I can not access my PLEX server at home from PLEX app in my iPad.
I can see my server listed in app, but I can not connect to this.
This is happening on VPN from Onavo and without it (VPN turned off).

On iOS 7 everything was working fine.

2. VPN and Personal Hotspot:
When VPN is working on iPad I can not find iPad Personal Hotspot on my Macbook Pro WiFi.
When I turn it off, I can connect, then I have to turn VPN manually, and then the sharing of Internet is working.

I am not sure, but I am considered that Personal Hotspot was working without turning off/on VPN.
