Kaleidoscope!!
Back in the day I think I MAY have once snap a screenie during the somersaulting open/close folder window.
LoL, one of the bests reason to run an old PPC Classic Mac is to have fun with Kaleidoscope. ;)
Absolutely.

I have Kaleidoscope on my Mac IIci. Makes System 7.5.3 look like OS9. :D

Here's my Power Mac and PowerBook. Both machines have SSDs for their startup disks; the G5 has a 64GB SSD paired with a 1TB storage drive, while the PowerBook has a 256GB SSD in it. The PowerBook is still my main machine to bring between the classroom and home, and what I do most of my grading and lesson planning on :)

I'm playing with my 9600 this evening. On the upside, using Photoshop 6 to change the screenshot file formats for posting here is lighting fast. I think PS6 is one of the few programs that can actually use both processors in this computer(they are not even seen in OS X).

On the downside, the new forum software is still abysmally slow on this computer. Back in the days of vBulletin, I could pretty comfortably browse this(and most other sites) in desktop mode even on a 604-based computer in Classilla. Xenforo will work okay with TFF on most G4s and even faster G3s, but Classilla seems to only really be happy in Xenforo on a fast OS 9 system like a 1.25ghz MDD.

The page renderings are also really weird.

(This entire post typed, edited, and uploaded from illustrated 9600).

All my PowerPC machines are currently retired, but today I decided to give my 466 MHz Clamshell a 5th life.
Took out an old Transcend PATA SSD and installed mSATA Samsung 840 EVO with fresh Tiger install instead. Added an USB WiFi "n" and it will be the kitchen computer. We'll see if it's capable of doing the job...

I have a powerPC that I haven't used in awhile, but here is a screenshot of my Quicksilver circa 1999. :)

Just bumped the RAM in my PMG5 from 2.0GB to 2.5GB. I'll be installing Leopard Server on it momentarily as well.
