Apple IIs

Makes me want to dig out the Apple IIc IIe and IIgs that are hiding in the garage after the move. Will post pics when found.

I'm hoping I can actually use the IIe as a serial terminal for the cisco routers in my networking lab, hopefully a project for this summer.

The Apple II-series make wonderful serial terminals:

Mac Pro 2.8ghz Quad 10GB RAM, 4TB HDD with 23" Cinema Display.

iPad 3G 32GB
iPhone 4
Apple TV 2
Apple TV 1
Airport Extreme
Airport Express

Don't like the clutter of old computers but I've had loads over the years.

7300, 9500, a few different G4's, G5's, Powerbooks.
I'd love to have the space to keep the old tech but it would just gather dust here.

My Mac experience only started about 2 years ago when I was building an inexpensive new computer, intending it as another Windows machine, and for the heck of it made it a Hackintosh to play around with for a little while, all the while expecting that I would just install Windows 7 in a day or two.

Instead I fell in love with the Hackintosh. I bought an iPod Touch, quickly got hooked on the apps/iTunes experience, then started to realize that as cool as the Hackintosh was it couldn't do every single thing a real Mac could.

I bought a 700mhz G4 iMac, quickly decided I wanted a newer Mac and sold my laptop to buy an iPad and sold my Windows home theatre PC to buy a Mac mini. I added a G4 MDD FW800 Power Mac, got it fine tuned, and gave it to my brother's family, who are on their way to being hooked on Macs too.

Yesterday I picked up an inexpensive Macintosh SE. Just something to play around with and have as a very neat decoration, but I think it's going to be the true beginning to an Apple collection. I've got the bug now.

I've been completely free of Windows machines now for close to two years, other than when a family member or friend needs something fixed, and it drives me nuts to spend any time on a Windows PC.

I used to laugh at the Mac people, thinking they were brain washed and all the other ignorant things Microsoft people say. Then once I actually tried a Mac, it was the best way to preach the Apple experience, it sells itself.

I'm trying to build up my apple collection. So far all I have is a Macintosh Performa 575, a Macintosh Quadra, and a MacRBG monitor, and an iMac G3.
Any ideas on where I can buy a Macintosh II/III?
