Nice! How did you go from none to all of that in such a short time?

Well, it wasn't cheap ;)

I got the iPhone 4 on launch day - came from a long list of Android, WinMo and BB smart phones. Then I got my wife a used 3GS for about $75. Then the iPad, Apple TV, iPad 2, iPod for my daughter, iPod nano for the wife, then an iPod for the other daughter, mba for me, iMac for her - another apple tv, and of course the iPhone 4S for me, giving the 4 to my wife. Next is a mini for the kids for christmas, and hopefully a 15" MBP/A thin laptop.. I really hope so at least :)

I've been building and buying MS based computers since 1988 or so. I bought my last one about a year ago. Mac from now on.

iPod photo 30gb

coming soon:

iPod U2 20Gb
iMac G5 2.0Ghz

Finally got an keyboard and mouse to the Classic! Really like that machine! Makes me want to "save" more of vintage Macs! Just, to place them.. where? No space at the moment. Saw an Apple ][+ sold lately with two drives and software..it was so hard to stay away from it!

Also got an Dr.Botts PSU for the Cube. So can finally have it in action. Thinking of mp3-playback machine without an monitor.

Got an Performa 6400/180, 88Mb, HD and CDROM today for free.

Gave the Powermac G4 466mhz away for free, as well the Powermac G4 DP867Mhz for a friend as a first Mac.

I tend to focus more on Powerbooks than anything...

My usual user rotation:

My Mac 2.26 Ghz Core 2 Duo
15" G4 AlBook
12" G4 AlBook
G4 TiBook
12" G3 iBook
Pismo
14" Wall Street
3400c
2 Graphite iBooks

And the collectables:
2 Powerbook 1400s
2 PB 2400s
2 PB 5300s
2 PB 520c's
PB 540PPC
2 PB Duo 230s
PB 2300
2 PB 180s

A bunch of backup stuff (several 3400s, a Wall Street, a couple broken down Lombards, a PB 190 and a 5300 that I still haven't gotten to boot, a TiBook that likes to occasionally freeze up, etc. I think there might be an extra 520 in there, but it's been so long since I dug around in that closet...)

I can't even begin to remember all the OS's on each system, until I boot and check...

In the non-Powerbook stuff, I have my Twentieth Anniversary Mac (beautifully upgraded by its previous owner), and a G4 Mac Mini that I swear I'm going to get hooked up eventually. Just as soon as I can clear the WinBox remnants off my desk... :apple::apple::apple:

Not shown in the photo is my mac mini, apple TV2, and airport extreme.

I used to volunteer at goodwill, refurbishing systems for low income families. They offered classes on how to use the systems too.

Unfortunatly, by the time we got any macs in, they were WAY below our minimum specs, which was moot since we weren't allowed to issue macs out anyway. They all got parted out to different recyclers. :(

A bondi blue G3, a performa, some G4 towers, and some emacs. All scrapped. :(

I like the dual iMac look. Similar to mine; the 17" bookends:

(That's the zoomed-in view, I have a 23" display connected to the newer iMac just off-camera right, but the desk is also absolutely atrocious over there...)

(And by "17" bookends", I mean the first 17" iMac, the 800 MHz 17" iMac G4 that can still boot Mac OS 9, and the last 17" iMac, the 17" 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo iMac.)

My Apple Mac Collection

Ok,

here's my list. I only state those Macs I have owned for real use and not those, I bought for just adding them to my collection.

these are all sold now:
Apple LC2 or LC II
Apple Performa 475
Apple Performa 5200
Apple Performa 5400
Apple PowerMacintosh 5500
iBook G3 700 MHz
Macbook C2D white

These I still own:
Apple SE/30 (a gift from a sponsor of the student organization I worked for)
Powerbook 520 (a gift from the same sponsor)
Powerbook 1400
Powerbook G3 Wallstreet 233 Mhz
Powerbook G3 Wallstreet 266 Mhz
Powerbook Pismo 400 MHz (not working)
Powerbook G4 Titanium
iMac C2D 20" in white
PowerMac G4 Cube with 17" Apple TFT Display and 19" Formac Gallery Display
[by far the best mac we ever owned. My father bought the cube new and used it for four years, then he handed the cube over to my mother (a teacher) who used it for another 3 years in combination with the larger formac display. Now, I got it]

These I currently use:
Mac Mini Intel Core Solo with 2nd gen. Lacie Companion and Philips 22" TFT Display
iMac Intel C2D 3GHz 21".
Macbook Air 13" C2D with 24" Apple LED Display

iPhones & iPods & iPads
iPod 4G (Click Wheel b&W display)
iPod Shuffle 3G 512MB
iPod Classic
iPhone 4G
iPad Wifi + 3G
iPad 2G Wifi + 3G

It is hard to believe how much money I actually spent on all these Macs!
But on the other hand, it is not hard to guess, how much fun they brought into our house and how much fun we had.

i need picture proof

Ok... Here are pictures of part of my collection from last year with me just moving in to my own Apple Store. Others are in my office or out on 'long term loan' to local people/family (8) who cannot afford their own Macs.

I'll be updating my pictures of the Apple store soon (when I can tidy it up a bit). It's now pretty much full... :)

The Keepers

Started with a Mac Plus as a teen, graduated to a PB 190cs a few months later, then quickly became addicted.

I've had a sample from nearly every line, except for the Centris and iPod nano. My favorites over the years were:

Quadra 800
PM 7600
PM 8600
PB G3 Pismo
PB G4 (15" Al)
BlackBook

Unfortunately, I've gotten rid of most of it. I'm currently using an '09 MBP, but that's on the way out if a thinner MBP comes along.

The current collection:

Newton MessagePad 100
10GB iPod (Scroll wheel)
ATV2
iPad 1
iPhone 4
Some AAPL from 2000
