Making progress on these rings! I'm still a little miffed that I lost the beginning part of July because I restored my phone as new. Oh well.

just getting in to the swing of things with the watch and doing different workouts. so far pretty good since I just got the watch on 7/29. :)
 
Yesterday I went for a 2 mile run and then got home and walked my dog for 30 minutes before getting ready for work...I feel like the watch and the tracking makes me want to take the few extra steps to burn calories. plus I'm on a mission so this helps
 
Up until a few weeks ago I got lazy filling in the rings. On top of that, I was eating like crap. So I started to diet/exercise and I made it a mission to fill out those rings.

I've lost 10 pounds in the past 2 weeks and I'm under 200 pounds for the first time in months. Thanks Apple Watch! :D

Dang it. I'm going to have to rethink my "recovery days" if I want to fill an entire month.

Anyway, I learned last night that to get the "Perfect Week (All Activity)" badge, I need to do it Monday thru Sunday, not simply seven days in a row (Tuesday thru Monday in my case).

That 12 August pissed me off... Watch would show my calories and steps/distance increase, but not register that I was standing. This thing almost got Frisbee'd across the house that night.

You all are really motivating me to get a watch now and assist with my recent activity/fitness goals! This is great that the watch has motivated you so much to change your lifestyle or integrate it into your already active lifestyle. I just need to take the plunge on the sport as I can't justify in my mind to spend for the SS at this point.

I swim 2600 metes 3 days a week - and obviously - it shows I'm a complete slug that day. Frustrating - I wish Apple would partner with a truly waterproof product that the data could read in. The other 4 days, I do an elliptical recumbent bike and my activity level look a lot better. BUT I'll never get the 7 day a week award. I'm a wheelchair user (power) so "stand" is challenging - using a ballet bar and the edge of the table and some rear hand holds on the chair - I can somedays do 12. I am relieved to see everyone's calorie level - after 79 minutes on the elliptical - it only shows 200-250 calories whereas my equipment shows over 600. I don't know HOW the few people in this thread do 700!!! I'm a 100 lb woman or so and "elderly."
 
This thread perhaps more than any other is making me covet the Apple Watch the most!

The plan is to buy my new husband one for Xmas, then hopefully I'll be able to follow suit soon after!

Thanks everyone for sharing, I love how the achievements look like little digitized metal pins we used to earn on varsity letters. So fun.

What'd you do, sleep in?

I don't know if I should bother posting my rings from today. The only one I completed was Exercise, and while doing so, I tweaked my back and slept most of the afternoon.
 
Mine is pretty spotty. Difficult to complete a Stand ring when I'm on a plane and bus most of the day.
 
Damn it. Another month that I couldn't get the month reward. November will be my month though. Swim team will be starting up in a few days for me and that'll be six days a week. So as long as I hit the mark on Sunday I'll be fine!
 
Gah...I broke my streak a couple of days ago, after a perfect August and September. I was sick during the latter part of the week, and that day I just couldn't get a workout in. Ah well. We'll see about November!
