Post your batt. cycles and time frame when it happened

Hi guys, I need some help!

I have just got a refurb MBP 15" Unibody a couple of days ago and I did an initial battery calibration. After that it has been pretty much given normal use of charging and battery useage. But this is my coconut battery report:

I don't know why the maxium use is so low, is it only because it is a refurb? I thought they would have changed the battery for me. But anyways, I will calibrate every month, but in terms of battery/AC power, will it be a good idea to use the battery till 60%, and then charge till 100%, then use battery till 60% and keep cyclying it like that? I have 4GB of ram but everything else is as standard

This is my first mac and I am not really sure about these things :apple:

IM LONG overdue for a new battery!
366 cycles
45% health.
Had it since august 2006

I always thought it was defective because it never lasted long, but i was too lazy to trade it in when I was still under warranty. Plus it leaves the plug less often now.

329 cycles
94% health
since june 08

How often is yours off the plug? Mines been on plug about 90% of it's life.

Update to my quest for a new Battery, I'm going to the Apple Store soon, so will see if they can change it as it's so close to (and sometimes is) elegible for a replacement.

Well, just purchased my Classic MBP in February '09 and had it in sleep mode for about (6) hours (note that my original battery was DOA):

MBP 2,53 (oktober 08)
98% Health
105 Cycles

What i don´t understand is, how some people only have 40 cycles but also bought their mac in october.
Do you guys really use your mbp the most time with your power pluged in?

i am kinda scared that i am filling up my cycles with some crazy speed :)

MBP 17 Uni Battery is 5 cycles, 98% :( lol how the heck do I lose 2% already...

I've used it 5 days now, and used it everyday full drain, full charge, after 3rd cycle I "calibrated" via the Apple sites direction but no change in total mAh, still 127xx mAh total.

Very happy with the battery life. Easily pull 6+ hours when I'm working thru my VPN, surfing and doing email. Wifi on, brightness at 75%, bluetooth Off.

Best battery life I've ever had in a laptop, which is actually better then I expected based off claims. I would have been happy with 4 or 4.5 hours based on what they claimed it would do.

don´t wanted to start a new thread for this question.

i just plugged in my mbp with batt. at 97%, now it says that it is charged and stays at 97% - it just doenst start charging.

how come? should i always wait till the bat is at 95% or so till i plug in the cord?
