Thanks for the compliments. The projector is an epson 8100 (1080p) just came out a few weeks, and the screen is an Elite silver frame (got it from buy.com). Heat is a non issue, the fans actually blow the heat out toward my window, and not toward me so I have yet to even feel the heat. This whole thing started with me just wanting to watch movies/play games from my bed occasionally but without having to mount a TV to the wall. So I got the projector..realized it looked awesome, but needed a screen, so I bought the screen, realized I needed sound, so I bought the home theater system. Next thing I know I have a movie theater from my bed...

nice set-up;
I have Paradigm Monitor 9's in my basement HT, which sound good to me.
As upgrade someday I'd consider the Reference series you have, nice to see them in action.

I'll trade you my speakers if you build me a media room...amazing stuff!

The size of the center channel was quite a challenge. It wasn't easy to find a cabinet that it could fit into...eventually had to custom build a Salamander Synergy system.

wow! that's a fantastic setup. love the lights around the screen too!

Just looked through the other thread on AVF, really nice job you've done there! I'm not a member on AVF so I'll ask here.... what sort of canvas have you used/where did you get it from? Cheers.

Thanks for the comments! The cinema screen is made from a regular black out blind that you can buy from anywhere. This one is from Ikea.

:eek: amazing amps and speakers. Surprised you have a JVC TV. Have you considered a projector?

Projectors

The JVC was the largest available 3 years ago when I bought it that didn't use the DLP system. It gets amazing pictures and when I was shopping I compared it against the much more expensive 70" Sony and the picture was superior. My basic objection to projectors is brightness and contrast ratio, but I haven't looked at them for a few years.

Here is my apartment, slightly messy, and blurry from the late night photos. My new addition, called "The Penetrator, Because it goes so deep" is on the far left.

I'll try to get some nicer shots with a less wide lens in the next few days.

Actually, looks a little bare to be honest. Ideas for where to go from here would be appreciated
