OK, they have now different deliveries for different BTOs. The 21,5" machines that I checked are 1-3 days. For the 27" it is still 4 days for all HW BTOs.

Sadly BTOs in the UK slipped back to 1-3 days from 4 Business days previously. Although the 27" BTOs are still showing 4 days

Not looking good for updates this week. And if we don't get them next week, it's not looking good for May. Half tempted to update to a 2011 now if i can get what i want for a good price.

Ohh apple why don't you upgrade the iMac. There is no reason to wait, people are not buying the old ones... and all the components are in the free market.:(

The longer you wait the more disappointed we get when the only change is a processer and graphics update.

Thats that frustration... will be there again next tuesday if nothing happens:apple:

Few updates.

Elgiganten.se - restocked on the model they were out of, but only by a few, they still have less than 5 of each base model.

Webhallen.com - Only have 1 iMac left, and there's no signs of new shipments coming in, still marked as "supplier out of stock".

Macoteket.se (an official Apple-reseller in Sweden, Premium Reseller) - Completely out of stock in their online-store, there's a handful of a few models in some of their physical stores. Says "Unknown status at Supplier - standard delivery time: Within 2 weeks."

UK UPDATES:

Dixons: ALL iMacs OUT OF STOCK

Pixmania: ALL base iMacs OUT OF STOCK - everything else reduced

PC World: No iMacs available to order online, instore pick-up only

Currys: No iMacs available to order online, instore pick-up only

It's getting closer! :D

Great job with the updates.. we are starting to get a better idea.. With amazon.com almost empty it looks like its getting very close:)

Apple Online Store in Germany changes ...

old : all available - BTO 4 Days

new : all available - BTO 1-3 Days

Is it weird that I got a little shiver of excitement on reading that UK stock level post :D

The four I quoted are, aside from the Apple Store, the biggest Apple retailers in the UK. If none of them have any warehouse stock left and just a few 'in-store' units, we can't be more than a week away from the update ;)

Agreed, or, their weekend/bank holiday sale event has left stores empty and they are awaiting restock ...

Let's be positive and not consider that as an option though ;)

Changes in Apple store NL

Apple Online Store in the Netherlands changes ...

old : all available - BTO 4 Days

new : all available - BTO 1-3 Days

:(

I really do not understand why Apple is taking so long with the updates. One of the biggest resellers already has the newest PC! copmuters with the new intel chips and updates graphics and SSD on sale for less than EUR 1000

Ditto Argos in the UK (another volume retailer) shows no stock of the 21" iMac. more than 10 in stock at johnlewis.com. Plenty of stock on amazon.co.uk though and that tends to adjust fastest from recent experience.

John Lewis has more than 10 units in stock for every iMac model.

Question : Why would Apple allow BTO machines to be processed with an in-store collection date of 19th May, if they know that the new model was coming out ,say, next week on the 15th May?

Surely they know that the customer would cancel the order in favour of the new model ? So where's the sense in spending man-hours building a machine that won't be sold ? Doesn't make sense.

I suspect iMac refresh may actually be a lot further off than many of us are hoping ...

booooooo :(

Because stock still remains and they want to sell it out, if swapping a processor helps with that - why not?

This blows. Im without my own computer till who knows when

If wwdc comes and goes with little to no imac news ill be so pissed

Apple , whats the point in releasing products mid year yet calling it a 20xx model with half of said year gone. All hardware should be updated by June

Every time someone mentions "WWDC" and "iMac" in the same sentence, Scott Forstall punches a kitten.

(Sorry kitty.)

Just thought we should have a place to gather all the info on slipping iMac shipping dates. It might be tomorrow (1. may) or much later, but lets keep updating this thread when we notice changes:) But lets keep talk about specifications and anything else not related to shipping dates off this thread.

Updating from posts but only iMac:)

Just updated, bad news that BTO dropped from 4 days to 1-3 days. Almost starting to believe rumors about of a mid june/july launch. Its typically Apple to do as they please, and maybe do a full upgrade of both MacBooks and iMac together.

But fingers i still crossed for a launch before june:)

Here's an excerpt from John Browett's e-mail to Apple retail employees:

There will be much more to share in the weeks ahead, and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone over time.

I am thrilled to work with all of you as we build the future of Apple Retail together.

Is it just me, and wishful thinking, to focus in on "There will be much more to share in the weeks ahead"?

Much more to share? Much more RETAIL to share? In the weeks ahead? The WEEKS ahead? Hmmmm . . .

It sounds to me like a sweeping rollout of refreshes for a majority of the Apple product line, prior to WWDC. One can hope.
