Apple dropped the ball by not providing an option to remove apps from the Launchpad only.. I simply can't be arsed to spend 2 hours organizing everything in folders..
Adobe CS5, for example, comes with an additional folder filled with individual uninstallers that all show up in Launchpad (not to mention render engines and whatnot). Same goes for a game like WoW, where every patch shows up twice (download and installer). Then there's the abundance of extra apps that come with an app I actually use that need to be thrown somewhere as well.
I was excited about cleaning up my dock's folders and using Launchpad itself, but this is just severely disappointing (considering it's one of the core features of Lion).
