I am so impressed with the quality of the photos being taken.

And this is why I don't own a separate camera.

These phones take amazing pictures, and it is more than adequate for my skill level in photography.

Here is my best so far. I am absolutely loving the upgrade from my iPhone 5s.

I just want to remind everyone that the iPhone's primary purpose is being a cell phone. I'm satisfied with the camera but then again I'm coming from an iPhone 4 so it's a drastic improvement. I have a DSLR for those times I need really great pictures.

Some of us are trying to avoid buying a DSLR and having to deal with post photo editing software to get the look and feel we want in our photographs.

This photo was taken with my iPhone 4 three years ago. I can't wait to see what kind of photos I take with my 6S+.

Sun has already set so I went with the aquarium. The photo IMG_5133 was taken with a 6 Plus and IMG_5135 was taken with a 6s Plus. I left the EXIF in them (except GPS :) ) so you can look at the details.
hard to decide 6s + seems a bit more zoomed in than 6 + and the s seems a bit more smudgy quality wise based on them pics they seem on par with each other

But you're asking a lot from a cell phone device that is not designed to be a professional camera. I think they take great pics. I just don't agree with the negativity I'm seeing on this thread regarding the camera. Plus, I never took great pics with my iPhone 4. Then again, I wasn't really trying as it was simply to hold me over until my contract was up. I also had dropped it and had a cracked front and back that might have affected it. Anyways, this is a huge step up for me.

Quite a bit has changed since the iPhone 4. It's quite common to use it for things outside a typical cell phone. Many people use it more to chat, play games, watch videos, browse the web, stream music and take pictures and videos more than simply talk. But hey, if that's how you want to use your phone, then by all means.

You're completely missing my point. Things may have changed but the iPhone is still not a DSLR. I think the pictures in this thread are great for it being a cell phone. To those that are having issues with the pics, are you zooming in or is it a 1:1 ratio?

tallazzpilipino your little dog looks just like Mia, my 9 yr. old chihuahua that I adopted from the
SPCA Aug 2014. I'm will take a picture of her later today.

cardwizard, those a great pictures.

I just want to remind everyone that only I can tell you how to properly use your phone.
Fixed your post for clarity.
Aside from that, anyone coming from an iPhone 6 notice much of an increase in detail in photos so far? The pictures I've seen so far don't seem dramatically different from last gen's camera.
