I have been waiting for Sky Lake MBP for two years now. I hope they get Optane drives. Then it's been worth the wait.
Why don't they just make it look like these early design ideas some people had.
They look so much better than this leak.
That is probably the first iPhone mockup I've seen that doesn't completely suck.
If you look over the years with the release of a new iPhone the design has always been totally different apart from the in-between years. Like many people I think the iPhone 4 was the best design and not a fan of the 6 but do have one although its in a completely inclosed case. As for the leaked imagine its ugly and just doesn't do it for me but everyone has a different view on Apple products and have always bought the latest products but things have become stale. I'm sure the design will/have been working hard to bring us that WOW design
The protruding camera on the current iPhones didn't bother me as I expected, the antenna bands do depending on the color.
This is the first time iPhones kept their size since Jobs's passing, so I am totally unsure what Jony will do with redesigning with same sizes.
This could be legit, but then again I remember when there were predictions and case leaks of a wedge-shaped iPhone with a wide home button.

I seriously doubt I'll be purchasing the 7, just because there's not going to be enough "new" to push me from the 6s+. I can easily wait another year or 2.. that is unless IOS 10 is really a power hog, but I doubt it. I'm just looking forward for IOS 9.3 being released and then possibly they'll announce the beta of IOS 10 with a whole new interface and major changes.. it's way past time!

iPhones are more important to a lot more people than Macs.
That said, I too would like to know what Apple's plans are with MBPs. I'm hoping it adopts some of MBs design aesthetics and features... better speakers, butterfly keys with maybe a little more travel, individually lit keys, etc.
Running a noise analysis on the image reveals that the Apple logo seems to be there as a result of a copy/paste. Notice the clean and straight cut around the logo and the contrast difference of those pixels with the body of the phone.

I'm gonna call BS due to the image that looks like it's from worse than the first ever cell phone. Seriously........ It's so f--ing low res it's hilariously easy to photoshop
How about no camera bump at all? How about not making it thinner? How about making a good looking phone? The 6/6S series isn't exactly beautiful or anything, and this looks more like an evolution of that.
Fake. The person holding the phone has neatly trimmed fingernails.
It could also be a compression artifact. Doesn't have to be copy paste.
I'm with you. If rumors are to be believed, it seems Apple is on a 4 year, not 2 year major design cycle:
Pre 2010: The infamous original / rounded 'chubby' design for iPhone / 3G / 3Gs
2010 - 2014: The 'block' desing with 4 / 4s / 5 / 5s. Remember, while 5 introduced lighting and slightly bigger screen, it was really a thinner version of iPhone 5
2014 - 2018 (?): Current design with curved corners / bigger screens.

WHAT MORE CAN THE RETINA BOOKS IMPROVE ON?
Personally, I think the 6 is their second most beautiful design... the way the glass is sculpted in perfect symmetry and proportion and blends in seamlessly with the aluminum frame is genius.
Even the way the antennae lines frame the top and bottom... It's in perfect symmetry with the edges of the display.
It's a triumph of design which explains why HTC and Samsung were quick to copy it... It also explains your differentiation complaint.
