Apple engineers at times get test units that only have slightly different features than current iPhones, they won't however get completely new generation iPhones, those only move outside the campus under 'strict' circumstances.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the original image dimensions were present in the EXIF data...

Yes, and no one can provide a clear explanation of why an apple engineer would spoof EXIF data of his personal photo while trying to conceal those details by reporting the phone as an iPhone 4.

Apple engineers at times get test units that only have slightly different features than current iPhones[1], they won't however get completely new generation iPhones[2], those only move outside the campus under 'strict' circumstances.[3]

[2] false. The lost iphone 4 was an actual iphone 4.
[3] false. The lost iphone 4 was left at a bar.

Furthermore, this was on apple's campus, not outside of it.

And another thing

This photo was taken with a 23 MegaPixel Camera

But you just can't tell from this shot because I cropped the photo and scaled it down.

You're just going to have to take my word for it. ;)

What a Load Of Crap

The iPhone5 photo is better of quality and of artistic. So I am not sure to beleive you to use expensive camera and have such a bad photo.

I'm starting to get super excited , it's starting to look like the new phone will have a better camera. Coupled with the improved camera accessibility introduced in iOS5, I feel like I'm gonna be using the camera a heck of a lot more!

It looks like an iPhone photo. The iPhone 4 has that natural image quality (colors don't pop quite as much) to it compared to every other cell phone camera. It just looks like a better quality version.

Rarely does this picture truly need to be used...

However, this is such an occasion

Your photo lighting is not good. But iPhone5 engineer did much better. So I question your photo was taken not with tiny pocket camera of someone who does not know how to use it. Seem like troll post, but I like your avatar so I think not. Confused.

I think if article is true, iPhone5 camera will help many to take better photos and save some many dollars so not to buy slr and learn to use it. I am excited for iPhone5! It will do HDR also? Yes?

I can get down with everything on that plate except for the avocado roll.

I mean , Really, what a stupid choice for a roll.
At least get a California roll or something.

"Oh my god, I've been craving Avo and Rice all day"

I just don't get it. Its almost the same price ac the California ..
Because Avocado is fantastic? Different tastes ...

Avocado is fantastic, but it's wasted in a sushi roll like that.

1 Uni?

No one eats just 1 Uni. Picture is a fake!

Hahahaa, so I just got back from Korea and went to one of the conveyor belt sushi places. Certain items were order only so we placed an order for uni. I couldn't believe it when only 1 came out. WTF?!?! I was there treating my friend's brother who gave up his bed for 9 days for me while he slept on the couch....so I gave him the uni. :(

The photo taker is Japanese

Ugh. That piece on the upper right is sea urchin. Definitely an acquired taste. I love sushi and that's the only one I won't eat. Judging by that and the small size of the lunch, I guarantee the photo taker is Japanese.

Is this post for real? I'm hoping it's a bad joke.

Bring it on. Does not look like 8MP though.

How could you tell how many megapixels a 560x574 pixel photo is? The real test isn't how many megapixels but what the quality of the resulting full size unaltered photo is. So many factors relate to image quality and megapixels is only one of them.

Though the plate looks like those you can find at the food-court in the campus, the GPS doesn't exactly point to the food-court... a forged EXIF information?

Once again, rumours remain rumours...

This man speaks the truth. Although it could have been one of the break areas.

We already know. Just search for "Xperia Arc camera". ;)

Eh, it looks acceptable. I really don't know why Apple didn't use the sensor that is those Nokia N8/9 phones as those are giving mid-grade P&S image quality. They are pretty much a camera with phone capabilities. That way the iPhone, ipod touch, and iPad could truly have the beast feature set on the market.

And the Apple Marketing Machine starts to rumble! Planned "leaks", hastily pulled, pointing to an imminent launch. We know your game.

Anyway. I'm hungry.
