They added White and Matte Black today.

I think I may have to get this to replace my Flick.

I tried to order from Japan through Google’s translated service, but didn’t get far. So I sent an email to support, but couldn’t read the first reply. Got an actual answer today. Cool!

Hope this helps.

Awesome! Thanks for that. Im really looking forward to getting this. Although it doesn't look like it will provide the best protection, it will do its job against hairline scratches on black and what not.

Awesome this will definitely replace my flick case. My dad uses the invisible shield on his 3g and I get jealous at how thin it is.

They don't come with the apple label on the back do they? or is the picture just showing the clear case making the label show?

Didn't realize it came in white

I want to see pictures of the white case on a black iphone ASAP!!

Shh, I'm jealous of white iphones

It's the clear case showing the label.

I'm still waiting for real world pics of the White and Matte Black.

the website is so sketchy????????????

dont you think?????????????????

i do???????????????????????

I emailed them and they said it would be available on their site by the end of this week (which should be about now) and available at Apple stores by the end of next week.

Got mine today too. If you're looking for a case that just covers the back - to prevent scratching when you lay it down on a table or in your pocket - this is the one. It's almost like having the back half of an invisible shield or bodyguardz (they say it's 1mm thin, and it feels really damn thin) Still fits easily in and out of my Marware CEO premiere holster.

Again though, this case ONLY covers the back. Chrome is almost completely exposed (it covers maybe the bottom 1/3 of the chrome). Also, mine came with 2 anti-glare screen protectors, and these small circles, that you can put on the back of the white iPhone, to prevent that greyish bubbling that occurs - kind of like when you put a screen protector on. It says that you only need to use it with the white, not the black - i guess it doesn't show as much on the black.

Sorry I can't take pictures - I don't have a camera, but let me know if you have any more questions.

To those who received theirs:

1. Is the finish rubberized?
2. Is it hard to put on and take off? Does the process provoke anxiety about scratching the iPhone?
3. Does the iPhone fit in the 3G dock with the Air Jacket on?
4. Does the iPhone fit in the ProClip holster with it on?

got it to replace my bodyguardz skin. no it's not rubberized; fairly easy to remove with care; doesn't fit in the dock, fits in universal dock with minor trimming of the largest dock cover. looks and feels great.

Thanks. Did you get the clear or black? And do you prefer it over the Bodyguardz skin?

It's sleek and all, but how could it be anything but sleek? It's barely a case. I wouldn't even call it a jacket. It's more like a micro bikini for the iPhone. I don't see how it can protect against anything but faint scratches from sitting on a desk.

Drop the iPhone, you're out $300. Drop the iPhone with this "jacket" on, you're out $335.

PowerSupport's Air Jacket Clear pics

I just joined the forums just so I could share to you the photos of the Air jacket I just got earlier this monday afternoon. Please bear with the quality as I have no digicams so I just took it with my cam (for webchat)

First of all, it is really thin. It really has a good feel onto it and it really grasps the back so no dirt will ever go in (I tried putting it in my pocket, worked well). Those small circle-like stickers placed at the back on the phone really helps to avoid that mark when the jacket and the case touches, and also follow the instructions on the japanese website, place 5 not just 2 of the stickers: rectangular corners then one in the middle. Like what the box says, this product cannot completely protect the iPhone 3G from all scratches and abrasions - because of it's 0.7mm thickness of course. This is only for people who just places their iPhones on their desks or tabletops, not for those who throws it or occassionally drops their iPhones (ouch why would you drop it?)

Finally my search ended, I used the Griffin Elan Form case first, didn't work because of the leather peeling, swapped it again with another Elan Form case but leather-peeling persists, switched to Incase Slider black matte, didn't work because of some problems encountered taking it off and finally this Air jacket which for sure will be my last case for my own iPhone 3g. It shows its aesthetics, the beautiful apple logo at the back (still not scratched) and of course its color. Definitely worth it! The only thing that bothered me with the packaging is that they never specified which one is the Anti Glare and the Crystal Film, they have 2 films inside but no label :( I have to contact them just to check which is which, cause I'm using my old anti glare film on my iPhone 3g right now.

Before I end this post, some cons I found.. the air jacket plastic case, you might find some imperfections - like really really small dotlike imperfections which you'll think are dust when they were manufacturing it. I couldn't get it off (sniff) but I only had like two of them so it doesn't bother me, besides the back of my phone is SOOO WHIIITEEE thank you power support!

As you can see in the photos, you won't even notice the case :)

Do these cases (especially the clear) scratch easily? I like clear cases like Gear4 Ice Box pro, IvySkin Xylo T3, Casemate "naked case", etc. but the plastic seems to scratch very easily on them which is very annoying.

just about all crystal cases will scratch easily...it's the curse of shiny plastic.

the crystal/hard cases provide a fairly decent amount of basic protection while showing the phone's design. best solution to avoiding damage is not to drop it - i've had an iphone since june last year and have dropped it once.

The clear cover comes with small flat clear button stickers to put on the phone before applying the protector. This keeps the cover (supposedly) from scratching the back plastic.

I like to use Gelaskins and this fits quite well over the skin. This way I can still see the sticker and I have the added protection of the cover.

Winner for me!

Keep in mind that this cover will probably be destroyed with a drop. Should be less expensive or get 2 for that price.

i'm interested in this case.

i wonder if when its on itll still fit in my sena elega case/holster.
