I just got one at my Apple store today at Suburban Square. My first impressions were would this protect my iphone fully and how good is it at doing so? I'll have to say that this is a very thin and non-bulky case. It doesn't protect the top or bottom of the phone fully nor the chrome part. It is made of soft touch plastic which is an excellent choice in my opinion and it comes with the crystal clear and anti-glare films! No need to buy them separately now! Overall, I'll give it an 9/10. One point off for not covering the chrome and parts of the top and bottom. But, I did not see a white one, just clear and black. Costs 34.95

Wooo go Suburban Square!
I'll be stopping in there soon to pick one up.

Just one question... will the iPhone with the Air Jacket on fit in the universal dock adapter for the iPhone 3G, which you can buy from the Apple Store?

Scroll up and look for the apple link that I posted, some photos
are included there. And I uploaded my personal photos for this
case in the 2nd page found here, click me.

i dont want a product picture from apple. and your pictures kind of suck.

anyway, i found a review on youtube already. good quality too.

scratches way easy.

The clear Power Support Air Jacket scratches easily?

Isn't that what cases are for? So they could prevent
the phone from getting scratched, of course the plastic
case will get scratched. (not the back of the phone)

Besides, it's hard to find a scratch resistant case(not skin),
but their purpose really is for the back of the phone not to get
scratched so you could have a well preserved iPhone :)

**the scratches on a clear air jacket against white iPhone
is not noticeable, because of its whiteness**

Both the Black "matte" finish and the Clear version are available at the local Denver stores, as well as the Power Support site and Amazon:).

The 3G with a PS AJ will fit in the Universal Dock, however, you must use one of the iPod Photo or iPod 5G adapters. It does not fit in the actual 3G dock, trust me:(.

The clear one does scratch easily, but leaves nothing more than a swirl mark, which is barely noticeable when you have it on the white 3G, however an eye-sore on the black 3G:rolleyes:.

The black matte PS AJ not only scratches easily, but the black finish actually chips off with your finger nail. I went through 6 of them at the Apple store here in Denver and every single one had a chipped corner or edge:confused:.

Overall, a great concept that only needs time to work out the manufacture kinks/defects, stay tuned.:)

Anyone with the black willing to post pics?

There's a pic of the black one at Amazon. It basically looks like a matte/frosted finish in person. It is actually quite attractive, but the paint chips with your fingernail:eek:.

the website is so sketchy????????????

dont you think?????????????????

i do???????????????????????

I have ordered numerous times from PS and although it isn't the best "looking" site, it is safe and Cutomer Service is outstanding, trust me:).

I purchased the clear one at Apple Store yesterday. I've taken it off a number of times and have not noticed any scratches. I have noticed air bubbles in the back that makes the phone look like it has ugly black marks. After thorough cleaning of both the phone and the cover, the bubbles are still there.

It is by far the thinnest case around and I'm happy with it. It does not work with the 3G iPhone dock.

Did you place the small, transparent, circle-like stickers at the back?

You should, that will take care of those marks.
The directions should be found here.

I placed five stickers as instructed on the Japanese Power Support web site - two on top (left and right), one in the middle, and two at the bottom (left and right). Works like a charm. :)

That was my question. Worse yet, the iPhone 3G with an Air Jacket on won't even fit the dock for the iPhone. I was going to buy one of those docks if the native adapter did not work. Darn.

The directions that come with the case say the little adhesive circles are for the white iphone  I have the black iphone, so does that mean I don't put the circles on?

NOTE: I have the clear Power Support Air Jacket case

You can still put them on, they're just more noticeable on the Black 3G than on the White. In both cases they help keep the phone from rubbing up against the case and creating those grayish streaks, not to mention prevent scratches with dust that may creep in:eek:.

just trim one of the adapters included with the universal dock. aint too tough to do.

Can anyone with the BLACK jacket comment on how it's holding up? Does it scratch easily like the clear? Is the paint chipping off?

Black Air Jacket, some minor wear showing after 3 wks

I've used mine for 3 weeks. There is some black coating wearing off on the pointed corners, near the stdby and headphone jack. It looks like they painted/coated the clear air jacket. You can see thru the plastic where the coat is coming off. Its not that bad yet, but I emailed PS cust service to see what they consider normal wear and tear. Only put in pants pocket, no other items to bump into.
Like I said, its not to bad yet, the back area is completely solid still. But those pointed corners are losing coating.
