it fits quite snugly, and you'll run the risk of ruining the BSE should you decide to take the jacket off.

I'm intrigued by this case. Very minimalist. Doesn't hide the iPhone's beautiful back.
Will hold off for a bit...

The clear cover comes with small flat clear button stickers to put on the phone before applying the protector. This keeps the cover (supposedly) from scratching the back plastic.

I like to use Gelaskins and this fits quite well over the skin. This way I can still see the sticker and I have the added protection of the cover.

Winner for me!

Keep in mind that this cover will probably be destroyed with a drop. Should be less expensive or get 2 for that price.

Hey Pocketdoc,

I don't think the round stickers are designed to prevent the case from scratching the back of the phone. They are to prevent those points of adhesion from forming between the case and the phone that cause that bubbly appearance. It's purely a cosmetic thing.

Now available at US Apple Store (online)

(photos are also available for both clear & black)

As of now, I'm very satisfied with this case :)

My interest has grown.
Do we have any more pics or reviews?
Are they available at Apple stores yet?

I just got one at my Apple store today at Suburban Square. My first impressions were would this protect my iphone fully and how good is it at doing so? I'll have to say that this is a very thin and non-bulky case. It doesn't protect the top or bottom of the phone fully nor the chrome part. It is made of soft touch plastic which is an excellent choice in my opinion and it comes with the crystal clear and anti-glare films! No need to buy them separately now! Overall, I'll give it an 9/10. One point off for not covering the chrome and parts of the top and bottom. But, I did not see a white one, just clear and black. Costs 34.95

That's good that it is finally available in Apple stores. Just to let you know they only come in clear & black, no white (probably that was the clear against white iPhone 3g) :)

Saw the clear one today in the Apple store in Soho. Using this "case" to protect your phone is like using a salt shaker cap for a condom.

I got my black one today and I definitely like the way it look and felt (matte). However, the hole cut for the volume buttons isn't big enough so it's hard to use those buttons, especially if you want to lower the volume. The case isn't THAT good for me to overlook this flaw.

I guess it's back to my Contour Flick. :(

Does the clear back scratch easily?

Does the clear back scratch easily?

I don't know. I only got the black one. I just got the case to protect the back and nothing else. My white iPhone gets dirty from dust and stuff sometimes. I have films for the front and already made my chrome the brushed metal look so I could care less about the chrome. Other than that, I chose this case primarily for the back of the phone and since it was light and didn't add any bulk, I'm fine.

Just got my clear one today. Having been using it for a few hours, I'm very happy with its thinness and snug fit. I do get a couple of small spots on the back, but they are easily negligible for me. :D

What do you mean by spots? Spots as in scratches or can you wipe away the "spots"?

I can't wipe them off since I think it was part of the plastic already. Their size is like 1/10 of a millimeter or smaller. I think those are imperfections during manufacturing. I can't show a real detailed pic since I only have a webcam but they're not noticeable so I'm good with it.

Oh ok. What about the plastic itself? Does it scratch easily? Have you noticed any scratches on it since you've purchased it (just by setting it down, etc.) or would you say it's very scratch resistant?

Any plastic would scratch eventually, I got this case last Tuesday 8/26 and I either just put it inside my pocket, on top of my desk (or just any tables) and I haven't noticed any "noticeable" scratches (like really long/huge lines) but I'm pretty sure it will get scratched if I toss it sideways along a surface (which I won't). So far the case is doing great, its just perfect for a sort of naked iPhone 3G ;)
