I preordered but same as everyone else 5/14 - 5/21 delivery. Maybe I’ll go to Apple on 5/10 to pick up a pair if available at stores.

Same, Did anyone get a May 10th delivery date?

May 13-20 and I also did express shipping.

I have two sets of Powerbeats 3(gym), Studio Beats 3(flying) and AirPods(work and home).

I am hoping these do well replacing the AirPods. I love the ease and sound, but for work they don't last long enough to complete an hour meeting. Also they barely stay in my ears (right ear is good, but left one falls out a lot). No review has discussed the phone call quality on the but I am hoping they are using some of the airpod tec.

Power beats are ok for calls, but I tend to have to hold the mic to prevent the mic picking up random noises.

These have my attention if they're more comfortable than the AirPods. The hard plastic on the AirPods bother me after extended use. Can't afford them at this time though.
How can you even "extended use" air pods when their battery only lasts 1-2 hours? I love my AirPods, but the short battery life is a real pain. I also love my PowerBeats 3 which have an awesome battery, and I am a little disappointed that these new ones don't have that same fantastic battery life. It's the only reason these aren't an immediate buy for me even though their battery life is still pretty respectable. The price and battery drop just make it hard to justify while my 3s still work great.

Ordered thru B&H, no taxes. Would have done Apple if they would have arrived on the 10th. I thought it would have been like an iPhone when they get there the day they release. I’ll just wait and save 20$.

Just ordered mine, woot! Really looking forward to these. I wasn't a Beats fan until I got the "free" Solo 3 Wireless set with a back-to-school deal in 2017. Turned out they were fantastic.

I'm in the same boat with a lot of people on here who like the wireless tech in the Airpods, but not the fit, controls, or smaller battery. These seem like a great compromise for my use-case/requirements.

However, if you told me three years ago I'd be paying $250 for a pair of wireless earbuds without batting an eye, I'd have said you were crazy, lol.

9to5 is still showing they ship for delivery on the 10th. Confirming many of these sites have absolutely no clue what they are putting out or have it pre-drafted and hit send w/out reviewing. The problem with journalism today. All about "I'm First" and who cares if I'm right or not. Because I was first!

AirPods have always been my ‘phone call headphones,’ while my Powerbeats3 have been my lifting headphones. Preordered the Powerbeats Pro around 10:02am EST and got the May 14-21 delivery date as well, so hopefully that’s just a temporary placeholder for now. I tried lifting in AirPods once, but the base is too weak for my liking.

Not sure why anyone would pay $250 for these when are are options like the Jabra Active elites out theres for significantly less. I am bias though because I have never been happy with the quality (both physical and sound) of any beats headphone I have owned.

I guess if you prefer over the ear headphones, then these are for you.

For some reason I thought that first picture looked like a seat of some sort…

Ordered them immediately. The AirPods fall out of my ears when working out because they don't handle sweat or the bobbing motion of running/sprinting very well, at least not in my ears.

Look nice but I can’t use headphones that don’t have wires. I love being able to take them off and hang them around my neck.

No need for you to be sure, but to help you along:
People have the money, $250 may be mere chump change for them.
People will buy what they want.
People will buy what they think may work out for them.
Some people may actually like Beats.

Pretty obvious.

Well obviously this new Powerbeats Pro doesn’t have a mic on a cable to hold like the 3’s so it’s more likely to be something like the AirPods. Without it projecting down your cheek I too wonder how it will sound but these mics surprise me these days and Apple usually does a great job.
