Probably, but if you aren’t stuck on Snow Leopard why not just use Basilisk which is the browser PF was back-ported from? PF has some specific changes made to make it run on 10.6. Basilisk officially supports 10.7+ by default.

Clearly marked as ARM (Apple Silicon), which this Mac is not. What am I missing?

Thanks, wasn't clear to me. Not certain I will install, since appears to be radically different universe of extensions - been using Firefox for many years.

Most all those extensions are forks of (current and/or vaporware) Firefox extensions. Different names, same functionality.

Only problem I've encountered so far is an inability to import bookmarks. Am I missing something?

Did it the old way. Opened the bookmarks file in PF and dragged stuff to the toolbar. Was a bit tedious, and took several tries per bookmark, but it did get done.
