No they did not for either of them. They did ask me to show them the cutout though. I didn't have to ask for a refund either. I just reported to them that the replacement has the exact same fitment problem and said "please advise" and they suggested the refund to which I accepted. They also said their "engineers are working on it".
 
Just seen this on their Facebook page:

"The cases sold by Apple are made to their specific design requests"

So I take it Power Supper will continue to sell their 'own' version of this case.

I wonder if the ones in the Apple Store are slightly bulkier? We know the bottom right-hand corner has a slit, instead of the lowered corner, but it would be interesting to find out what else is different.

The overall lip has been raised by 1mm
 
I will have the Apple version within the next few days. I also have the Power Support original version on its way and I'll post up a comparison.

Those who have the Air Jacket Rubber black, is there a front lip on the case to protect the screen face down?
 
From review people recived, Apple store version is much better, edge is raised, conner is not cuout, not extremely tight(in good way), easier for take on/off.

but I don't see it on Apple store site?

You can see all the difference from Pic, except Apple one is made in Korea, a little cheaper, and doesn't have sel healing coating(this coating is a joke anyway).

I prefer Apple one

The Apple retail sites in some countries already have it but not all. They're still not on the UK site or UK Apple stores for example.
 
Just bought the Apple version yesterday and already broke it trying to get it off. My fault I'm too OCD for a case like this. I couldn't put it on the phone without specks of dust between the case and the back of the phone. It was driving me nuts. On and off and on and off until it broke. Just putting this out there in case there are any other OCD folks out there. Loved the look and feel of the case. Too bad. Sticking with my black leather Apple case. It calms the OCD.

Very disappointed in this version of the PowerSupport. The bottom sunken corner just looks horrendous! Almost seems as if the case chipped in that area.

I have the version from the Apple Store. Got it on Michigan Ave in Chicago yesterday. It's probably a lot more what you're looking for. Maybe a little more lip than I'd like, but the fit is really good.
 
I'll take the PS version without the lip any day since it's slimmer. I got used to the sunken corner and I don't even notice it anymore.

The black rubber version has been awesome so far. No issues as has been discussed in this thread. Absolutely love the feel of it in the hands. Grippy yet smooth like a baby's butt.

It's not a perfect case but still currently the best in the market imo. There's really no competition when it comes to full-coverage, slim, minimal cases out there. PS as a company though, just needs to work on their QC and getting their orders right...
 
I bought the apple version today and I can't seem to get it on. It's a tight fit and it feels as if I'm going to scratch up the phone. Any one have any recommendations on how to install?
 
Are the power buttons easy to press on this case?

I had a Spigen Thin Fit and it has exposed buttons but the cutouts are too small and your thumb will touch the case when pressing the power button. Is it the same for this case?

The buttons are easy to press - the cutouts are fairly large.
 
Does the Power Support version keep the 'feel' of the naked iPhone? I've had most versions of the iPhone and feel this one real loses out by being put in a case. Every time I take it out of the Apple silicone case I have I'm reminded how much nicer it is without a case.
