How's the grip with this frost matte versions? Slippery?
I was thinking the black rubber would be best for grip
So my 1st order arrived (black Air Jacket). Unfortunately my phone won't be coming until next week so I can't provide any useful pictures. I really like it but have to ask, does anyone else with a black Air Jacket have inconsistent seams around the edge of the case?
See pic below. I have a pretty pronounced "slit" or "cut" around the bottom right corner, whereas it's pretty smooth everywhere else. It's about an inch long.
I'm debating whether I should keep it or return it. A part of me is thinking it's a bit of a nitpick driven by OCD. The other part of me is justifying a return as I waited a couple weeks for this case (pre-order,) not to mention it's not the cheapest case out there, and it came with a pretty noticeable cosmetic flaw. What do you guys think?

You should return it. This case is relatively expensive. If it's a cheap one off eBay I wouldn't bother.
I agree, you should return it.
I'll be especially disappointed if mine arrives with a problem like that - the wait and the cost due to living so far away (New Zealand) would make it extremely annoying.

Just got my black rubber and rocking it with my space grey 6. Loving the slim and minimalistic set up!
I really like the clear, but yes, it is a bit slippery and also it's the devil to get off if one wants to remove it from the phone. Finally got it off after many tries, and was thankful I didn't damage either the phone or the case.
The transparent grey is more matte, or the black? I assumed the black would be, but the grey looks to be the same material as the clear.

Yeah. You're right. The smoke grey is of the same material as the clear. Gathered feedback from friends that it can be quite slippery. The black one is the matte one that I was talking about.
I think they rushed the product this time round. Loads of clear/smoke cases came with scratches. And they were not as scratch resistant as the iPhone 5 era cases. Many cases developed scratches from just a day of usage.
Out of curiosity, where is this information coming from? I've only heard one mention of a cosmetic defect.
So who else with this defect? Is it a single problem, or all black rubber comes with this seam?! Just ordered black one
It's feedbacks from my friends! A bunch of us did a mass order for these cases. Light scratches are already starting to appear on their clear/smoke PSAJs.

I'm using the black rubber and don't have this problem.
