I posted this on another thread but this seems to be the main thread on this case so I will post here.

This may or may not be the best clear case but my question is what are you rating this against because honestly I have the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Clear (which I tossed because the buttons are so hard to push), the Ringke Fusion Clear, the i-Blason clear and all are really the same except the Ringke is the best of those 3 because it has simple to push buttons (very much unlike the Spigen) and has dust caps.

I think I am like the a poster on the other thread, in that I don't need more cases just like them - I and I think the original poster or still wanting clear but maybe tougher. I want more of a lip then any of the three above and any I have seen on all these sites and I don't want a 2-piece case that some on the other thread said they got because it had a snap on front because I just think those affect the touch of the screen.

I looked at the Power Support air and it does not appear, by what I can tell by a picture, to have any more of a lip then any of the above. Does it?? Can you tell me why you find it the best over all these?

Don't mean to be blunt but I keep buying these cases that everyone says is the best but really they have ended up being all the same - same materials, made the same way, same LIP. This one appears to be flexible on the back also which is fine. But I don't really care if flexible or not. Now, I do like the Ringke out of the ones I have purchased so far because the buttons are much better and it has the dust caps (which I don't have to have). I kind of do like the covered buttons though, which this one does not appear to have, but maybe I can live with that too. But the Ringke, even though I like it best so far, doesn't have any more lip then the rest and really mostly the same materials - maybe designed a little better.

Is the Power Support air, really any more rugged then all the above - with more strength and/or protection and more of a protective lip??? (And I don't think it is because people want to lay the phone on its face but more about how it would be protected if it was dropped on its face). I am beginning to believe really all of these clear cases are almost exactly the same, protection wise. I was hoping that somewhere out there really is a rugged clear case with more face protection (i.e. bigger lip).

The Air Jacket's primary goal is not "rugged" protection. It's the balance between protection, aesthetics, and a slim fit, all along with a high quality reputation which draws people to the Power Support product.

Based on your post, I would not recommend the Air Jacket to you.

Thanks for your honesty. That is all I really wanted. I think people should get what they like so I have no problem with that. I still want clear but a little more protection. Don't get me wrong I still want fairly minimal too. I just want a little more lip on the darn phone lol - but it doesn't seem to exist in a clear case. Thanks for the response.

Its going to be hard to believe but the quality of the power support is just better. I used a spigen on my ip5 and was a waste of time and money after a few drops. The ps air jacket will protect your phone from drops when these other thin cases might not. The feel is just different. Once you put this on you wont ever want to take it off.

Wobbly Wobbly Wobbly Wobbly

Does the Air Jacket for the 6 Plus remove the wobble caused by the protruding camera lens? Thanks!

Ordered that for my Gold 6.
Can you explain more in detail why you don't like the Clear Matte please?

from the back it looks nice, but from the side it doesn't match well with the black face. Just my opinion of course

It should. If you look at some of the pictures in this thread you can see that the case appears to at least sit flush with the camera lens.

Ok thanks I might still try it. I have to give it some thought because I have a drawer full of clear cases now lol. I still have a flexible Encase FlexiShield iPhone 6 Plus Gel Case - 100% Clear that hasn't even arrived yet lol.

I agree that the Spigen was a waste of money - for me mainly because I can hardly push the buttons because so hard to push.

Are you all ordering directly from their site because I don't see it listed anywhere else.

Thanks. Can you post pics please?

Also, how's the texture of it? Grippy or slippery?
Hopefully it'll look better with the white face of the Gold.

I forget where I saw pics from , I personally think the clear matte it will look nicer with the white phones .

I bought 2 clear 6+ cases. Pictures were taken from the 6+ camera. It's a very tight slippery hard case with barely any lay on the table. It does cover the camera from protruding. The bottom right corner does not cover the edge. My guess is it was done so the case can flex enough put the case on. So far, like the IP5 version, I am liking it being a hard and tight case. The issue is that they may not work with my Iloome edge-edge glass protector I have on preordered.

Got my black rubber air jacket for the iPhone 6 plus today. Has a little more grip than naked... but I think the iPhone 6 just feels less grippy since it's thin. I think the iPhone 5 air jacket made the phones look more minimalistic... like it didn't have a case. This one... not so much, but satisfied with the look. More disappointed that there wasn't a black iPhone 6 plus available. I don't really like the space grey color behind the cut outs.

I have to look at more reviews on glass screen protectors... not really liking the one I have on... but good enough for now.

Thanks for posting some pics, I'm still waiting on my black version for 6 plus.

What type of screen protector are you sporting there, and what are your impressions of it?

The screen protector is spigen glas.tr slim. I like the cut outs compared to other glass screen protectors, but I really don't know if I like it. It only has enough width to cover the width of the visible screen on the iPhone. I'm sure better glass screen protectors will come out, but it's good enough for now until I find one with better reviews.

Ok thanks. With the currently available options I still don't feel inspired to pick up a glass screen protector.

Best potential I've seen so far is the Araree Core Curved, but will wait to see some user reviews before diving in.

Ok what the hell. My Air Jacket order still hasn't shipped. Ordered like a week a ago.

Just emailed their support about the holdup

I was looking at the core curved as well but the concept diagrams seem to indicate the thing is essentially a flat glass surface with filler material underneath the glass to make up the difference where the iPhone display glass curves down.

I'd like to see user reviews on here first. Any takers? :D

Yes, the diagrams depict a flat sheet of glass with a radius on its edges and a plastic filler, but this still looks the most promising so far in my eyes.

The radius could actually be quite large, as it is tangent with the main surface of the glass, but it doesn't need to meet the edge face at a tangent (hope that makes sense). The extra width of glass allows this, unlike the majority of current offerings. This may result in a very similar feel to the bare screen.

PS used to be my go to iPhone case, but I no longer want to spend this much for a $1 piece of plastic, but it is hard to know what is best to buy online. I want a $5-10 case like the shumuri or PS. Amazon ones I ordered came damaged and not full coverage as was pictured. still shopping.

Interesting screen protector. I'll wait for reviews... but the most important part is if it is compatible with the air jacket case.

Technically... I waited longer than you. I ordered mine 2 weeks ago on the 23rd.

From my experience last year with the 5s Air Jacket, they take forever to ship if you're not in the initial batch to go out. If the shipping delays go too long, I'd complain and complain some more--I did and got a nice credit from it.

I fully expect to be waiting over a week b/c I just noticed the Crystal Film I ordered yesterday is now out of stock. It was in stock when I ordered, but I'm sure this will hold up my order, unfortunately.

I'll say this about PS: LOVE their product, HATE the responsiveness of their customer service. Once you get ahold of them they are great to deal with. But that initial communication from them seems to take way too long.

My screenprotector was shipped 2 days ago. And the order was made almost the same time than the Air Jacket order (maybe 2hours apart).

Also they said on their Facebook that if you haven't received shipping notifications 7.10 then you should contact support.

Received the Crystal Film for the iPhone 6 today. All the reports and reviews are true - it looks terrible on the phone because it only covers the width of the screen. I guess Apple really made things difficult for these guys this time around with the curved phone.
