Pre-order successful

Done and done...

Chrome was being a douche, but successfully ordered on the 2nd from Apple Store iPhone App. Smoothest pre-order to date for me...

and now to catch an extra hour of sleep before "getting up" for work.
 
Just pre-ordered a 64GB white and silver through the Apple.ca store, at about 12:15 am PST.

Just pre ordered mine in the UK about 30 seconds after 8am. I was expecting to pay £629 for the 32 GB version, has the 16 GB version is now priced at £529, but was pleasantly surprised to find that the 32 GB iPhone 5 is the same price has what the 32 GB 4S was (£599) :D

Interesting thing was. The Apple website was showing updating store, but when I used the Apple Store app I could pre order a good 3 minutes before pre ordering came live on the Apple website.

Got to admit that it was the smoothest pre order yet, no issues whatsoever, fast and smooth.
 
apple store app froze on me so i tried apple.com, worked like a charm...can't wait until next friday!!!
 
Apple store iPhone app for me. No problems. Was able to confirm unlimited data at checkout. 64gb white/silver for me :)

finished on verizon... it's showing me 20.00 per line access charge instead of 40? I'm sure they'll fix that in a hurry

Was able to finish my AT&T preorder 5 minutes before official Go Live time. Worked smoothly except for one thing: Never had an option to add Applecare.
 
well that was simple, all I've read all month is how hard it will be to get the iPhone 5 for UK launch day, no at all
08:01 pre-order starts...
08:02 my order processed and I'm going back to bed...

then I got back up to so as to tell everyone (sorry ;))

so happy I don't have to queue from early next week to get one.
 
That was easy !! Done by 3:11am EST on Verizon.

I expected this process to take a long time due to traffic, but got in on the first try right at 3am EST. Got the $50 loyalty discount on 32G Black Iphone. My first Iphone, and first Smartphone! (I've been fighting getting a data plan but findally gave in).
 
This is going to sound completely stupid but as long as you go the "Your order is being processed" email from Apple you're in the clear, right?
 
Done! $649 for my Black 64GB ip5 and $849 for my wife's White 64GB ip5. Through Apple's website. Will go into Apple Store to add AppleCare+ near the end of the first 30 days (you can do that). Was afraid to mess with APP during purchase out of fear that it would take too long. Since you can add the AppleCare+ within first 30 days I figure there's no rush...

For any worried, you ARE allowed to pay full price for a *locked* unsubsidized ip5 if that's your only option (I'm with AT&T).
 
AT&T was no joy. Totaly nightmare.

Apple site worked perfect.

White iPhone 5 16GB for me.

WOO HOO I GOT MY PHONE! Delivers on 9/21.

What is funny is that Safari on my Mac would REFUSE to load the Apple website. I used Google chrome and the site loaded, and then I got the Thank You notice with Order Number.
 
Actually got two orders in...one on store.apple.com on Chrome for my gf and one on wireless.att.com on Safari for me.

Night night.
