Only 13 episodes for 2017, such a long time away. :-/

I recorded the Talking Preacher show for later, but I did hear that this season, as compared to the comic served as a prequel as to where the comic started.

The show is officially past the point that the comics are up to.

So I'm completely wrong. It is not, the comics are all done and the tv show seems to be following the plot of the comics.

After watching "Talking Preacher" it all makes sense now. This was the lead up to the comics. So season two is going to be were the comics start.

The comics have been done for quite sometime (if that is what you are referring to).

I don't think they have announced its return date yet, only they have been green lighted for a season two and supposedly they are either finishing up the writing and are starting to shoot next year or they have already started shooting.

I went looking for a free version of Preacher Season 1 to re-watch for free, no where to be found. Amazon has it for a fee.

I think they just announced that all of season 1 is available on demand for a month for people to catch up or binge on, but I don't think season 2 premier has been announced yet (latest I've seen puts it sometime in the summer).

It looks like AMC is going to have its hands full (so to say) over the next few months with new seasons of "Into the Badlands" and "Better Call Saul" starting, as well as a new show "The Son" launching.

S1:E10- Call & Response. Outstanding final. Season 1 was well worth the rewatch. (AMC on demand for a limited time). I'm really looking forward to Season 2! 🙂

I hope at some point during the show they go into the full back story and how he "escapes" from the place below. I loved that part of the comic series. To me this guy is freaking spot on so far.

I have already seen Herr Starr. Teehee.

Season Two starts with a bang. So far I only watched the first episode, On the Road which includes some excessive violence, but I'm still watching. I just realized what that is in post 44. I still want that car. 🙂

I am glad we finally got to meet some of the prominent characters with this last episode. There is definitely some weird stuff going on though and some "slight" deviation from the book.
