I still am. Amazing how stable it is when there's no app support other than HTML5 webpages!^ This... You should be on iOS 1.0
Properly written iOS apps don't need to be held in RAM to remember state - perhaps you should complain to the vendors of your incorrectly written apps?
We apologize for wanting to take advantage of our hardware and not burn our eyes out at night. You’re right, we should’ve stayed with an OS that will not be receiving updates anymore.

Well I’m on 13.1 and doing just fine. I’ll just skip 13.2.

I'm on 13.1 and it sucks. I can't backtrack. I'm going to wait until at least 13.3, as 13.2 is worse than 13.1.
They. Did. Not. Have. This. Issue. Before. iOS. 13.
Apple did something to cause this issue and they haven’t resolved this since iOS 13.0 beta 1. Even their own apps are affected by this.
Nope, no going back. You said if it wasn't fixed you were switching.
These "issues" often turn out to be hidden features that Apple does intentionally for some reason.
I bet the cause is that they bloated 13.x entirely, leaving far less room in memory for any applications, including their own. So, they have to be far more aggressive in memory management so the foreground applications don't crash. It could well be that there are multiple memory leaks that are the source of all this pain. I certainly hope it's as simple as that.
Where's all the folks from the other thread who insisted that the current performance is a feature and acting as designed???
I think Apple's taken the idea that humans can't really multitask (true) and extended it to iOS. I wonder if machine learning has anything to do with this. Who says it's always going to learn the GOOD things we can do, after all?
Well apps like YouTube and Safari instantly reload sometimes when I just leave the app and quickly go back to it. I think it’s a bug.
That’s great And I would love to jump on the beta but what will it break? I think we need a 13.2.1 to fix multitasking.
Especially on an iPad that is suppose to be a computer replacement according to Tim Apple. I’m able to have multiple apps and multiple windows open with out a problem on my 6 year old MacBook Pro (with a real keyboard)

Didn't beta testers pick up on this when they were testing 13.2, or does Apple not care what beta testers have to say?
Fixed for some, not for others. I haven't been experiencing this terrible memory management issue myself, my issue is mail being frozen when I get a notification and tap on it. Takes a few seconds for it to unfreeze and do my work. But only from a notification while using the phone. If I open Mail from the lock screen, there is no issue.
I already tried that, here's the response I got from Tim, I was surprised because it was a quick reply from him (his team).
