Thank you for confirming I'm not crazy. For what it's worth, things have been better for me since I switched to a different USB port (maybe with better power output?).
For me with CarPlay the Reminders don't pop up on the screen like they used to. Drives me nuts. I set reminders to come in when I get in the car. Defeats the purpose if it doesn't show up!

This seems to have done the trick. Thank ****ing god. I normally don’t install the point release betas but I could not live like that anymore.

Have you considered the possibility that they just didn't say it was working for them but defended apple in saying that we were over reacting and that there was nothing wrong with ios? Lets not be ignorant and assume that loyalist do not exist and run rampant on these boards.

Yes I did consider that.

Good! I denied this was happening for me at first, but then have been hit by it frequently ever since. I may not have noticed it until I started watching for it. But now I've lost precious minutes of my life having to redo things! Frustrating! o_O

Looking forwarding to 13.3!

I can confirm. Bug fixed on 13.3 beta 1. Locking/unlocking my phone would cause youTube to refresh on 13.2. It has not happened yet on 13.3. Too bad it took apple to reach a *.3 release for iOS13 to be where it needed to be on release day.

It doesn’t look like Apple fixed this issue for me. Ugh. Safari just reloaded after trying to open an app on the home screen to have it appear in the recents dock so I can drag it up to multitask with Safari.

disappointed. I’m seriously considering switching now
Switching to what exactly?
Not being sarcastic, just asking.
From the looks of it you're using an iPad Pro. Sure, there are alternatives, but Android tablets are literally dead at this point so all you'd get in the ballpark would be a Surface.

... because he was checking to see if the problem has been fixed?

Stretching the RAM to having to serve 32 apps is a bit over the top, though. It is not a realistic demand on any iPhone’s RAM and falls under “you are using it wrong” category. 😋

They are not using 32 apps at once. iOS just keeps apps in the background that you may have used recently. Mail, Browser, Chat, Games, Weather, App Store, Settings, Banking, Navigation... and the list goes on. It doesn't take long to incorporate 30+ apps into your daily workflow.

Understood, but still, why keep so many of them running in the background?

Still doesn't smell any different

Great how about the thousand other bugs. For example the one where you’re using FaceTime and it keeps switching off and on Wi-Fi to the cellular network. Or how about the thousand bugs and mail app? This entire OS is a piece of junk

Cool so we have to wait for another 4-6 weeks for a public release. This should be fixed ASAP in a X.X.1 update.

Why on Earth would somebody need 32 apps opened at the same time?

Never you mind how I watch my porn on Twitter, Tumblr, Safari and youtube while chatting on imessage, twitch, slack, Grindr, Boyahoy, Hornet, Jacked, Scruff, Tinder, Facebook Messenger, Kick, Whisper, whatsapp and Telegram... that's my business! Just fix the OS!

I don’t want my apps closing when I’m switching between YouTube, Safari, Notes, Reminders, Procreate, Affinity Photo, Twitch, Netflix, etc throughout the day. I want them to remembered. It’s a hindrance when apps reload and I lose my spot.
No you don’t.

25 apps that are all “mission critical” to your existence? Lol. You named like 8 apps & 3 of them are just for funsies.
I’ve worked in the tech industry for over 2 decades... I’ve literally met ZERO people that have a workflow that includes using 25 apps simultaneously. I believe that is beyond human capabilities. It is a preposterous notion & a silly thing to say.
You absolutely, beyond a shadow of a doubt, do NOT have 25 apps that all need to be held in RAM at the same time... to avoid hindering your work.
I’m directly calling you out. That is a bald faced lie.

sorry, not sorry

Beware people who say "you don't need...", then proceed tell you why you don't need or want what you need or want, even though its a personal decision and different for everybody.

But, who wouldn’t want all their apps to be remembered in the background instead of getting closed????

Boy, it would be so nice if I was drawing the day before, and when I returned to it the following day it resumes where I left off!! No hassle needing to set everything up!!! I’m such a busy man that I use so many apps in my life... it’s such a shame they don’t stay remembered for that long... it would be so nice to have my favorite 25 apps stay running at the same time.

And , apps are just apps, they can be any app! Even games! You must have missed the ‘etc’. Would you have been more fulfilled by me if I actually listed all the apps??? Say so, and I’ll list them just for you.

So they’re not lies! You just misinterpreted what I meant and assumed I need it just for my workflow!! You have to understand my perspective. I do lots of things between apps that makes me wish they didn’t reset what I was doing.

Everyone wishes all their apps can be remembered in the background, I need at least 25 to be satisfied. It hurts me oh so much when they suddenly close.

Ok, I’ll be wary.... thanks.

Although- I do think it bears mentioning that wants and needs are two separate things. One is opinion based, the other fact based.
For example if I told you “I need to eat to survive”, that is true. However, if I told you “I need to own exactly 17 blue t-shirts” you could correctly say “No, you WANT to own 17 blue t-shirts... that is not a need”.
Similarly, if someone says “I like to open all 42 apps on my phone & NEVER close them” I couldn’t argue. But if they said “I need all 42 apps on my phone opened simultaneously”, it’s completely accurate and fair to say “No, you WANT to open all 42 apps simultaneously- that is not a need”.

So is it fixed or should I stay on 11.2? Just bought this new factory sealed 2nd generation 12.9 Pro at a great price and it has 11.2 on it 🙄

Fixed in a beta 13.3, the official OS is at 13.2 and it has the problems.

Everyone says something different. Is it fixed now or not?
It's fixed in the BETA 13.3, if you don't run betas (early builds) then you are probably on 13.2 (most recent final build) and that does have this bug.
