Preorder 3GS Delivery Date?

Just got the same email. Though order status on their website still says the 24th, but I'm not going to worry about it. Clearly I will get it on the 19th.

Thanks for posting this! Clears up a lot for most of us. Even a few days wait to get our toy when others might have it by walking in to ATT on the 19th would piss most of us off.

Got the same email confirming that my delivery date of June 24th was wrong.

Sounds like they had an error in the system for early orders that reported the delivery date, and later orders were reporting correctly.

I wonder if the people that paid extra for overnight shipping are still going to have to pay for it, its not like they'll get it sooner than the people that selected free shipping.

Has anyone not received the confirmation email yet?

I placed my order at 9:30 EST last night, and still have not received any email at all...

But the online order status says everything is good for a June 19 delivery.

ordered last night and didn't get an email either. and my online order status also showing delivery of 6/19.

i had an online chat with an apple salesperson and when asked about arriving on 6/19, this is the exact text of what he said:

Yes, when you order online delivery is guaranteed on June 19 with free shipping.

yeah, my online status says everything is good to go for a June 19 delivery, but im wondering why i never got any sort of email from them...not even a receipt.

makes it seem like the order never went through.

i just got the order confirmation email. yours should be coming soon. email still says delivery on 6/19.

Preording confirmation/delivery

To all of you that have not received email confirmation of order yet....It took me approximately 48 hours to receive an email confirmation. I did, however, have a receipt that I printed at time of order, so I wasn't too concerned. I did finally get that email to confirm though.

Regarding delivery date.....does anyone think it's reasonable to assume they'll ship monday? How else can they assure that with 5 day delivery it will be there Friday? I'm hoping this is the case---I was one of the silly people who actually paid the $16 for overnight delivery....can't wait to see if there's a chance that it'll be delivered before the 19th. Hard not to think of that as possible when everything says 'delivered BY June 19th. You figure some of us have to get it before the 19th if they are saying definitely By the 19th. 😕

I got my email receipt today, but only after calling apple and asking why i never got it.

Regarding the shipping, remember Leopards launch? I think I got mine a day before launch because i pre ordered, and they just messed up on the shipping. Hopefully that happens again!

When I called I asked about overnight shipping, and the lady said that they would be refunding everyone who paid for overnight shipping because ALL 3gs orders were guaranteed for the 19th.
