Anyone moved out of processing to preparing? The amount for my MBP has been reserved as my Best Buy credit limit is decreased for the cost of my order but I'm still in pre-ordered status.
I am still in pre order status as well, I put my order through last night, I'm sure we'll see some movement tomorrow, it still shows to be delivered by 11/16.
They told me the same thing... Doesnt make sense to me but I guess we will see.
They probably have them but are waiting for? something. The 16th I guess. They are strange (Apple that is)

I've lost count of all the idiotic things Apple has done this past 18 months that have frustrated the heck out of me. Even the release of these laptops was totally underwhelming. Yet I am still buying one. If Mac OS wasn't so awesome I wouldn't bother.

They will probably ship out either tonight or tomorrow. Unlike apple, best buy will provide tracking once it ships locally not from china. They are probably getting them today from Apple, and will ship tonight/tomorrow. That is how it worked with the rMB.
Are any of you familiar with the quality of packaging for Apple laptops shipped from Best Buy? I'm afraid that they use minimal protection between the MBP box and outer box, unlike Apple with the foam cushions on each corner.
IIRC, they just take the apple box and slap their own sticker on it, or at least that is what it appears they do.
I haven't bought a laptop from Apple before, but my series 2 watch came in the original Apple packing plus it was put in an additional outer box that it shipped in. I think Best Buy's packaging will be fine.
So all in all, three boxes? LOL. Apple product box, apple outer box, and another best buy box?
I'm interested to hear when people get their email confirmation. I just put in an order as well.
I ordered mine a couple of days ago with BB and it doesn't actually have a delivery date. It says "Get it by Tuesday, Nov 15." It doesn't actually have a delivery date, though it did before I placed the order, when it said receive item by the 16th.

They charged my Paypal account if thats any consolation as to whether they are shipping soon. I bet we have them by Thursday or Friday at the latest.
Got off the phone with Best Buy. They have my order and are preparing for shipment but they have not charged as they are waiting for the street date before they can release it. So no there isn't a MBP with my name on it yet. Still says I should receive it by Wed Nov 16. Honestly I don't know if that is true but that is what I was told.
