I see that some models are now as coming soon as well as others doesn't show the shipping date for 11/16, some models still do. Hopefully we can see some movement later today.

The Bestbuy preorder button now is all "Not yet available". There used to be a Shipping: Preorder saying Get it by Weds, Nov 16 and In-Store Pickup: Unavailable. Now the preorder button says "Coming soon" and the shipping/instore pickup data shows not yet available. Hmm... What do you guys think is going on?
probably means there sold out of the space gray 15'. cause the other models are still still say pre order
Probably exhausted their preorder inventory, can't fulfill anymore and have no idea when they can. For us in Hawaii, its too bad we are so limited to where we can buy from other than online. I only go with Bestbuy since they offer rewards program... hate to say it, but their service isnt the greatest or most of the people there are clueless. When I was there this Sunday, I asked about 4k monitors and connections, the person had no idea about thunderbolt or DisplayPort. He simply said i only know hdmi. Sorry my rant for the night

I think what's going on is the "Get it by Nov 16th" deadline cannot be fulfilled if one orders, let's say, on November 15th at 5PM. So since it's the start of the new day, they're disabling preorders (since it technically is not a preorder anymore AFTER release day) and fulfilling the existing preorders made under the "Get it by Nov. 16th" and it says it will be shipped One Day shipping, so it makes sense to me.

Exactly. It says 1 day shipping so it won't ship until later today.
My guess is they got their apple stock yesterday and they are sorting through them for shipping today.
I placed a second order last night, and it still said it will be delivered by tomorrow. I will be really interested to see if that is the case.
I am pretty confident these will arrive when they say they will. If not, we're no better or worse off. Just keep waiting and reading reviews.

What's interesting is they have two different sku's for the base 15". One says coming soon and the other (if you scroll down to the bottom) is still available for pre order. I'm sure this is an error on their part.
I guess the best thing that can come out of this is some Best Buy credit if they fail on delivering. Today is the last day to see any movement for nov 16 delivery though right?

I think this is just because the space gray versions are sold out, but the silver version is still available for pre order. Either way, that at least explains the difference in SKU
They should change status tonight. They are using overnight shipping, so it makes sense that nothing is showing so far. I mentioned this earlier but, unlike apple, they will ship locally and not from China. More than likely BB got them yesterday and will ship them to customers today.
Yes and my experience with UPS overnights is you don't get notification until after it's shipped. One time mine arrived before I got a note from UPS

Just called BB to check on mine and he said mine is in Seattle (where I live) and will be delivered tomorrow. It hasn't been assigned a carrier yet but that I'd get an email with tracking info this afternoon!
They most likely are just taking stock from local BB hubs to send to people and the leftovers will go to their stores.
I agree with the person above about shipping notices. We will most likely wake up to shipping notices with delivery tomorrow.
I just called BB and he told me that my order has been shipped to the terminal for pickup so it can be shipped to NYC. I place my order for the MacBook pro 15in last night. I do not have a tracking number yet.
Its says processing on the app and online. On the automated number it says preparing. I was told by the rep that it was ship.
Was about to say... I called the Best Buy number and the automated service said my order was being "prepared" it also said I'll get it tomorrow. Online is still saying processing though. Fingers crossed it's tomorrow.
