Yep - as expected I just walked into my local store and picked one up.

No fraffing about with deliveries.

I live about 40 miles from the nearest Apple Store, so that would be more faff than waiting for a delivery.
[doublepost=1506071432][/doublepost]It's here!!

UPDATE: It really doesn't like my Netgear router for some strange reason. Straight swap for my 4th generation, but kept killing my internet. Have resolved it by plugging network connection into Airport Time Capsule and it seems happy now.

It’s well known that in Netgear routers you have to turn off beam forming for many devices!

Any chance places like target or Costco have one? I missed the preorder and would like to pick one up.

Since mine requires a signature for delivery, I had it held at UPS. Just got a message that it’s ready for pickup.

Preordered from Walmart back when they popped up and it says they are shipping today. Delivery on Monday.

Anyone else preorder the 64GB from Walmart ship yet?

A lot of films aren't coming up as 4K, John Wick 2 for example, seems a small selection of 4K.

i should have just gone to best buy, i stepped out for a coulee of min and of the course the ups guy comes and even thou he always just leaves the package this time he didn't and will make up to 3 more delivery attempts and of course today is my last vacation day, just fantastic

I had to literally flag down my ups guy when I got home. I had presigned for the package. And when he saw me stopped and gave me the package. He said they weren’t allowing him to leave any Apple packages behind without a signature. Good thing I came home in time lol!

I'd almost guarantee package theft sees a spike on Apple product release days.

You're suggesting connect the apple TV to my av hdmi 1.4 receiver, and then run another cable to my hdmi 2.0 4K television, right? Problem with that as I understand it is that the older receiver will not pass the 4k video signal one through the receiver to my Television. So i won't carry 4K on to my tv.
Correct, that is what I was recommending. And you answered my next question regarding the capability of your receiver in your setup. I found myself in the same situation when I bought my LG OLED recently. I had to replace the Yamaha A/V receiver I was using because of the same reason....it would not allow 4K pass through. What did you end up deciding to do with your setup?

just have hdmi running right to the TV - not using my $$$$ audio system at all right now! :( obviously short term approach - waiting to see if / what apple resolved. And i want to see if HDMI splitters that support 1.4 and 2.0 come down in price.
