Yep - as expected I just walked into my local store and picked one up.
No fraffing about with deliveries.

I live about 40 miles from the nearest Apple Store, so that would be more faff than waiting for a delivery.

UPDATE: It really doesn't like my Netgear router for some strange reason. Straight swap for my 4th generation, but kept killing my internet. Have resolved it by plugging network connection into Airport Time Capsule and it seems happy now.
It’s well known that in Netgear routers you have to turn off beam forming for many devices!

I had to literally flag down my ups guy when I got home. I had presigned for the package. And when he saw me stopped and gave me the package. He said they weren’t allowing him to leave any Apple packages behind without a signature. Good thing I came home in time lol!
Correct, that is what I was recommending. And you answered my next question regarding the capability of your receiver in your setup. I found myself in the same situation when I bought my LG OLED recently. I had to replace the Yamaha A/V receiver I was using because of the same reason....it would not allow 4K pass through. What did you end up deciding to do with your setup? You're suggesting connect the apple TV to my av hdmi 1.4 receiver, and then run another cable to my hdmi 2.0 4K television, right? Problem with that as I understand it is that the older receiver will not pass the 4k video signal one through the receiver to my Television. So i won't carry 4K on to my tv.
