Preordering Apple TV 4k

Mine shipped. Due tomorrow. Signature required, but I won’t be home. I guess I can leave a signature at the door. If I’d know they needed a signature, I would have had it delivered at work.

Luckily I am home tomorrow, but that would have annoyed me. Its a $200 item. I have ordered things worth far more off amazon and no signature was required. Maybe that is why some pre-ordered from Best Buy?

Just as John.Burn stated, 4K UHD HDMI (it is what I use for my LG OLED personally), to your A/V Receiver. Using the same model cable, hook that HDMI from ATV 4K to your A/V Receiver. Cables now carry the required formats both visually and audio wise for nearly the highest of setups. I am not talking $80 Monster Cables or anything. I have found great deals on the RocketFish 8ft HDMI as I described above for very reasonable prices at BestBuy.

You're suggesting connect the apple TV to my av hdmi 1.4 receiver, and then run another cable to my hdmi 2.0 4K television, right? Problem with that as I understand it is that the older receiver will not pass the 4k video signal one through the receiver to my Television. So i won't carry 4K on to my tv.
 
mine was switched to shipped this morning, delivery date for Friday, when I ordered it expected deliver date was for Monday so Im happy with this!! shipped by UPS
 
Ordered from Coolblue here in the Netherlands. Tim Cook and his magical logistics can not make it happen tomorrow. Delivery delayed to somewhere in the next 2 weeks.

Looks like the 64GB version is in heavy demand, they underestimated demand or e.g. have yield issues for the A10X ?
 
Got a text message from DHL saying there was a package to be delivered by tomorrow asking if I want it to be delivered to a pick up point :)

On Apples website you can pre-sign for it.

Pre-sign and leave a case of beer by the door. When the X comes out, you’ll have your new phone waiting for you. Regardless of whether you ordered on time or not.

In-store pickup in Dusseldorf (Germany) today. Cancelled my delayed order with retailer, who didn't receive any/enough units from Apple and mailed me 2 weeks delay.

Yes in-store pickup.. some stores have them on the shelves today.
 
I've just cancelled my pre-order....I really don't like it how it forces a single frame rate for everything....Freed up one for someone else :)
 
Cancelled my pre order as I managed to get one in a store.

Was mostly interested in photos and music so it has delivered on what I wanted.
One thing that is really annoying me (first world problems) is the location of the on light. It just seems really odd, it’s not defective it just seems a strange design choice.
