Yeah, looks like rogers, telus, bell are all doing some sort of promos with sim card free and activation free. Though charging for a sim card or activation is pretty ridiculous to begin with.

there is no reason to keep it at concord

I somehow doubt UPS will successfully deliver all these before noon today, since Apple paid (or should I say WE paid) for noon delivery with UPS Express Saver service. The status for mine shows it still in Concord (I live in Maple), so I'm hoping their tracking service is just down or very slow to update. Fingers crossed for noon :D
 
If it makes anyone feel any better, my wife just called and said mine showed up! UPS tracking doesn't even show it out for delivery yet. It's not even 9 yet! Red Deer, AB.

11 AM and an hour to go before noon, which is when they're supposed to have it delivered, although I'm not holding my breath. On the truck for delivery, but still not received in Kitchener, ON.
 
I know it says "signature required" but I am worried they will leave my iPad between the doors at my house. I have had packages left like that before, with no damage thankfully, but I can't imagine UPS doing that with a shipment from Apple. I won't be home until close to 6pm so I hope my new baby iPad is going to be ok. :D

Totally! A co-worker of mine came into work this morning with his shiny new iPad that he bought at Future Shop on the way to work. Meanwhile mine is still in transit with UPS. Damn! :) Oh well. He'll be distracted all day at work with his new toy... I just have to wait until I get home. Can't wait. :apple:
 
I received mine around an hour ago. 16GB White Wifi. Ottawa. Order about an hour after the keynote.
