Maybe we should have our own thread :) "Calgary and still waiting". Seriously this is killing me...come on UPS.

lol
I got mine an hour ago NE
The UPS guy told me you're the first one I deliver to. At least in my part of the city :D
Retina = AWESOME :)

Has anyone received their shipment from concord hub? And it still says arrival scan online?

It's probably because there was stock in north America... Stock runs out = delays for you. Apple in theory had a lot of stock ready to go here, to shorten shipping times.

The engraved iPads come from china. So once they are engraved they are shipped out to the person who order them. Basically, engraved and non engraved are different which will cause different shipping times.

What they should have done (if the problem with shipping both engraved/non-engraved units is too many to handle) is ship them out according to day/time ordered. If it is apparent that both can be ready at the same time (which it definitely was so cuz mine was shipped on Mar. 9), then it would make sense to do it "first come, first served". Because now people that ordered a day or two after the ones who ordered immediately (like me, as soon as the site came back on!) got theirs while the engravers who ordered 1st day are out of luck. But this could be Apple's grand plan to save money by making people think twice about engraving. Especially the ones who ordered on launch day should get it at least at the same time as someone who just pops into the store now. Not after. What is the perk of pre-ordering, then?

I found it so weird that when I ordered on the 9th and then got my shipping notice on the 11th. I was like wow plenty of stock. And then I came here was like what happened to the people who ordered on launch day because there order was still being processed.

Mac Mac is right. There is no real perk of pre ordering then is there? I thought this would save me time not give me a headache.

Nope. I'm in Milton (near toronto) and people seem to still be getting them even though UPS tracking hasn't been updated. I hope I still get it! :)

Which hub are you getting shipped from? I am guessing you'll be serviced through mississsauga.

Still waiting...

Out for delivery in Calgary/SE - Douglasdale. Nothing yet and I am not a happy camper :(

Call me spoiled but I want my iPad! :p

Got mine around 11:30am PST. Vancouver.

UPS tracking sucked big time. Before the delivery, the status was still in Mount Hope, ON. I made a copule of calls and found out it was already in the Richmond warehouse.

I just called UPS and they said if your package says "arrived" scan
Then the package hasn't been sorted yet, and UPS as a company has until 21st to deliver you your iPad. I am calling apple at the end of night to bitch about this!

I am upset that Apple communicated (on my shipping email) that it'll be delivered by Mar 16 and UPS says we've been told to deliver it anywhere between Mar 16-21

Still waiting in Regina, SK. UPS is such a f*cking joke.

3/3 delivered, all by different drivers. Very efficient system. Calgary SW.

Wow what a waste of resources..3 iPads going to the same address and they put them in 3 different trucks!! No wonder I'm still waiting for mine, I bet it's on the truck delivering to Southland 'cause that would be the furthest point away from me in the city (I'm in the NW)..grrrr.

Mine said "arrived" on the scan and it got delivered. So there is hope for you yet;)

CONCORD, ON CA Mar 16, 2012 5:07 PM LOCATION SCAN
MOUNT HOPE, ON CA Mar 16, 2012 11:04 AM LOCATION SCAN

Wow - let's hear it for UPS... 6 hours to move 100KM. Averages out to 16 KM/h...

Hope it gets to the sorting facility in Montreal over the weekend - at this rate I should get it in about a week

Looks like I'm not getting it today. Doesn't UPS only deliver until 7PM in residential areas? Mine still says "arrived" in Concord. I live near Toronto.

I cancelled my order, went to FS. this morning and picked one up :), came home and cancelled the order, no waiting and retina in my hands :)
