Preparing for shipment thread

If your phone is already in the US (held at Apple warehouse/distro center), then you may not see a lot of scan activity until 9/24 as most pre-orders ship Next Day Air from UPS for 9/25 delivery. China shipments will naturally show more scans as they make their way around the world.

The geek side of me thinks it's fun to track and keep up to date with where all the pre-orders are at, but don't get too worried if no updates for a couple days. No reason to panic or call Apple/UPS- we'll get our phones on 9/25. :apple:

I'm still debating on if I want to have mine held at UPS to go pick up myself or just wait around the house for them to deliver it on friday?

MINE DID NOT COME FROM CHINA ! No track for china i mean on UPS
 
Phone marked as shipped today, but the tracking number isn't showing as valid on UPS' site. So I'm guessing it hasn't actually shipped yet then?
 
Mine (Week 38 phone) still says preparing for shipment, but when I put my phone number in at UPS MyChoice I get tracking info:

ZhengZhou, China 09/21/2015 9:00 P.M. Arrival Scan
09/21/2015 8:30 P.M. Departure Scan
09/21/2015 3:59 P.M. Location Scan
09/21/2015 2:45 P.M. Origin Scan
China 09/21/2015 3:04 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

How did you determine that it's a week 38 phone?
 
All planes from China to Anchorage that were in the air have now landed. If you don't have an arrival scan for Anchorage, chances are very slim that it was on any of those planes.
 
Finally!!! All that time I spent refreshing has paid off!! lol!!

i tracked my phone via ups website its doing ups next day air but i see this

location Harrisburg, PA, United States

09/21/2015 1:48 P.M. Package is in transit to a UPS facility

would i see scans tonight or will they hold it at that ups facility till wensday or thrusday

Plus my apple order say preparing for shipment

I wouldn't mess with anything. It'll be delivered when it's supposed to be.

Just be glad you aren't from NYC where a pope visit is causing UPS delays until next monday.
