why does my order status say preparing for shipping but in ups website i found my tracking already

Because - Apple did not inform you yet about any activity - right ? So Remember - do not jump before you're pushed =)

Wait for Apple - everything gonna be alright !

It only takes 2 days for a parcel to reach you anywhere in the US from there.

If you have MyUPS you don't need to track by reference, it will show up automatically in your MyUPS list of incoming packages. To track by reference, hit the Tracking tab at the top of the page, and then Track by Reference on the left side of the Tracking page.

Choose track by reference and then enter your phone number and ZIP Code.

preparing for shipping only means your order has been processed. (Address sticker has been put on, invoice enclosed and boxed. ). Unfortunately after all these years there's still no pattern that's reliable
